Hi,

yes, its that Dragonmeet time of the year again.

The website is at http://www.dragonmeet.co.uk/

No, I know its not very useful. No, the chances are it wont be updated much.

But come along anyway!

Lots of RPG merriment for all the family in a friendly environment!

Traders, loads of games, demos, a bring'n'buy.

Cheers,
KAL

Hi,

Robin D Laws and Kenneth Hite have been confirmed.

James Wallis (of Hogshead) will be interviewing Ian Livingstone - you can send in your questions to interview @dragonmeet.co.uk

Phil Masters will be running games.

Thats all so far.

Cheers,
KAL

Ok guys... i am planning to come to dragonmeet this year... (there's a low cost flight from my town to london...).

I'd need few but important tips. My doubts are the moment are not so many (pls consider that i NEVER attended to dragonmeet od smtg similar, except for Luccagames in italy):

1) is there the possibility to trade stuff? what is the best stuff i'd bring with me, recent items (like uncommon 3.X items) or is it better to focus on "vintage" stuff

2) are there resellers? are there auctions?

thanks and ciaooo

Hiya,

be nice to see you!

One thing to remember that Dragonmeet is only a 1-day Convention, and therefore fairly small, especailly compared to Lucca!

It is also NOT D&D focused. Pathfinder tends to be very popular, as are many independant games.

However, it is also extremely friendly, and there is a lot to pack into 1 day!

1  not really trade stuff. The resellers will buy it (we do), or you can put a price on it on the Bring and Buy.

2 the biggest reseller is House Atreides (us!). We will be in the large foyer. There are normally 2 or 3 other stalls with 2nd-hand material in the trade hall. However, given that the traders often arent announced until very close to the day, if at all, exactly who will be there is difficult to say.

If you want to play games, buy a ticket beforehand online (or at Leisure Games is you are there the day before) and get in very early. Available games book up fast.

The auction is usually a short, leisurely affair, starting at 6pm. Lasts an hour or two, to a small but enthusiastic crowd. All auction moneys go to charity.

Please come by and say Hello.

Cheers,
KAL

That's pretty cool...especially since I had thought Ian Livingstone was dead.   :!:
