The 4th print Monster Manual has Jean Wells listed on the title page for illustrations (along with Sutherland, Trampier & Wham). Her name is signed to the Eye of The Deep, Giant Rat, Neo-Otyugh (with "Dave"), and possibly Violet Fungi (too faint to read). These are the same four illustrations that were added to the fourth print, according to
this Acaeum page. Can someone tell me if her name is missing from a 3rd print (Dec 78) that is also missing these four illustrations? Just trying to determine if these are the only illustrations she worked on.
I also noticed that the page linked above indicates that an "Ape, (Gorilla)" illustration was missing from the 1st and 2nd prints but added to the 3rd and later prints. However, my 4th print has the (famous?) illustration for Ape, Carnivorous, but none Ape, Gorilla. Is this a typo on the Acaeum page?
