I have a problem buyer, who is harassing me for a refund on an item for which he/she didn't read the description. However, that is not the core of the problem. The writing style this person uses is VERY familiar, and I think it is an incarnation of a recurring scammer. The buyer is brenscollectables, and here is an excerpt of a message:

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
That Impossiple. The ONLY Item I carried about was the DUNGEON MASTERS Set that was suppose to be Sealed. You kno YOURSELF this transaction should have NEVER...NOT EVEN CLOSE...have taken this much time!! I'm I AM being Nice abut it!

I requested ONLY 10.00 back as the game is now worth 1/3 of what it was before you PORRLY Packed the Box.

Grannt the 10.00 Refund...and we are Finished. don't know what else to tell other than to JUST DO The right THIING? AND LETS NOT FORGET YOUT TOTAL LIES...PROMISING ME I WOULD HAVE IT BEFORE MY SONS BIRTHDAY!! WHAY A JOKE!!! LOL

YOU......DROPPED THE BALL ON THIS FROM THE **VERY** START!! NOT ME!!! HELL i SPENT AN ENTIRE WEEK JUST TRYING TO GET YOU PAID, BECASUE YOU WOULD NOT OR COULD NOT SEND AN INVOICE???
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Aside from the outright lies and exaggeration of the details of the situation, I already refunded this person $20, which was $5 above the shipping price.
Who is this person? I just KNOW we have seen him/her before. Bclarkie would have her sniffed out in an instant.......

Yeah, it's that goofball in Virginia who keeps opening new eBay accounts, starts out strong selling, and then suddenly stops sending the packages and goes down in a firestorm of negative feedback. She has her own thread somewhere around here..

EDIT: Here it is, http://www.acaeum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1898&highlight=brenscollectables

Confirmed, it is indeed that individual. I gave him/her/it until the end of the day to retract the hold; at that point, I involve the FBI for online fraud. It irks me to call in a favor for something as trivial as this, but I find I have little patience for this kind of thing lately. I'll have them open the case here in NH; I have no desire to fly down to VA to give a deposition and/or testify.
Thanks, Meta, I was pretty sure SOMEONE would remember this scammer.

Is this the same guy as the Callahan guy, JonB, ETC, and all that?
If it is, could you PM me his current contact info? Shipping name and address? Phone number?

Is there some legal reason why we can't just post it publicly?

Nope. The phone number I was given is 276-228-3201 for a Brenda Callahan, supposedly has a husband Tony who has e-mailed me once in the whole chain. Strangely, he has the same lack of grammar/punctuation and a penchant for capitalization.
Shipping address I sent the package to:

Brenda Callhan
163 Indian Cir
Rural Retreat, VA 24368-3233
United States

This was the Paypal address.
If you guys have contact info for the prior incarnations and could send them to me, I'll get the ball rolling.

Thank you, Ben! He/she/it is a forum member as well, a shame we can't ferret that out. I'll start the proceedings.

For what it worth, here's Shellie's MySpace page:

Maybe she's bitter and can be turned against him.   :?

10 years in the making, huge chunks of it documented by people on the forum. I really hope the Callahan clan get what's coming to them.

Doing what I can, Ian :). Actually, since John is homeschooled, I figured this would be a good opportunity to show him how the FBI works; what it does, why it does what it does, etc.

This is either a single male redneck, or a redneck couple, using whoever's ID they can convince to set up accounts in their name. Problem is, they are so thick, they keep using the rest of the redneck family, so most of the names come up Callahan. The Callahans of VA must be a real bunch of thieving melon farmers. You really have to be as thick as sh!t to keep stealing uning the same MO and using the names and addresses of people who can be tied to you.

I can see why the guy was kicked out of the Army. You really don't need people like that bringing down the US Forces. Soldiers need to know they can trust their buddies when the sh!t hits the fan, and not bug out on them, or go rifling though their pockets when they were hit.

We should know soon enough. I was on the phone with eBay for an hour (thank you language barrier). I didn't make it to the FBI office, but I can hit that Monday. A woman answered the phone number, so it is valid.

We know he lurks here too. Just a little cowardice left from his Army days keeping him from posting.
