I am going through my collection and trying to determine if all of my books are complete. I have used the TSR archive as a guide in the past but it does have many items whose contents are not identified. Can any collectors out there help fill in the missing holes, so to speak? Thanks in advance!

1. World-Wide game day modules: Lair of the Mad Alchemist, Assault on the Fane of Lolth, and Curse of Gethin Abbey

What are these modules supposed to include? fold-out maps?

2. Vault of the Drow, pastel and blue printings.

Are these supposed to include 32 page books with cover and trifold cover, respectively?

3. TSR 1062 1991 Fantasy Collector Cards.

Is this a box of 36 packs or does this item represent a pack of 16 cards?

4. AD&D Play-by-Mail Game

What is included in this module?

5. TSR 1045 The Classic Dungeon Game

How many dice and what kind?

6. Quest for the Dungeon Master

# pages in the rulebook?

7. Lankhmar board game

# and type of dice, number of pages in the rulebook

8. 1975 Dungeon board game

number and type of dice

9. Forgotten Realms LC5 Player's Guide to the Living City Campaign

How many versions and what is included in each version?

10. LNR2 Tales of Lankhmar

Is a fold-out map supposed to be included?

11. How many and what kind of dice are included in the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd edition Gamma World boxed sets?

12. Are these contents descriptions for the GW accessories correct?
GW4 Mind Masters (32-page book, tri-fold cover)
GW7 Beta Principle (32-page book, tri-fold cover, fold-out map)
GW8 Gamma Base (48-page book, tri-fold cover, fold-out map)
GW10 Epsilon Cyborgs (48-page book, tri-fold cover, fold-out map)

13. Are these contents descriptions for the GW modules correct?
GWQ1, Mutant Master (64-page book, cover)
GWQ2 All Animals are equal (64-page book, cover)
GWQ3 Home Before the Sky Falls (32-page book, cover)

(are any fold-out maps present, removable covers or tri-fold covers?_

14. Star Frontiers, same as above
SF2 Starspawn of Volturnus (32-page book, cover)
SF3 Sundown on Starmist (32-page book, cover)
SF4 Mission to Alcazzar (32-page book, cover)
SFAC1 Character Record Sheets (32-page book cover)

15. And finally, Zebulon's Guide to Frontier Space, is it supposed to come with a fold-out star map in addition to the perforated cardstock screen?

Quite a lot! Thanks for any help!

Check all Star Frontiers modules for their center sheets, as many are designed to be un-stapled for use in the game.

15. And finally, Zebulon's Guide to Frontier Space, is it supposed to come with a fold-out star map in addition to the perforated cardstock screen?

The back of the light-cardstock tear-out screen is the star map.

The "Dungeon" game comes with two six-sided dice, regardless of printing

9. There are three versions - 1.0, 1.1, 2.0.  I don't have them handy to check exact page counts, but they're just loose sheets.  Mars may know.

10. No.  This is one of the (relatively few) errors in the TSR Archive.

The World Wide Game Day releases are tricky since they are usually sent out together with a pack of promotional items, and it's sometimes hard to tell what counts as being "part" of the adventure.

As far as I know for these three:

* Lair of the Mad Alchemist did not come with a map. It looks like it makes use of a Dungeon Tile (or two) from one of the 3e Basic Sets, but I'm not sure if this tile (or the minis mentioned in the adventure) were handed out separately from Basic Set for this Game Day.

* Assault on the Fane of Lolth doesn't have its own map, but uses a map from Fantastic Locations: Fane of the Drow. I think spare copies of this battlemap were included in the Game Day kit, along with four character sheets, some minis and some RPGA Campaign Cards.

* Curse of Gethin Abbey did come with a specially printed map. This map can be made from one of the early Dungeon Tiles sets, so not having the map included doesn't make this unusable. My copy of this is also bundled with printed character sheets for six pregens. From the description, a bag of minis (six characters and a copper dragon) and some RPGA Campaign Cards were also part of the kit for this Game Day, but I don't have those.

Rulebook?  I've got 2 sets, 1 in shrink.  The rules are printed on the inside cardboard holder.  Not enough rules to need a book!  My kids used to love this, they had a copy along with the cartoons on dvd when they were 4 and 6.

Wonderful, the replies are a big help! I am in particular interested in confirming the contents of Vault of the Drow, the 1991 TSR cards, and all of the Gamma World items!

2. Checked my D3s for you:

1st (pastel) - 32 pages, trifold cover
6th (blue) - 32 pages, regular cover

9. Checked my LC5s (they weren't as buried as I thought):

1 - 40 loose leaf three hole punched pages (20 sheets)
1.1 - don't have it, ask Mars, pretty sure he has that one
2.0 - shrinkwrapped, so not sure, but table of contents says 24 pages

I won't have time to go digging until Sept - big week coming up followed by a vacation.  I do have all 3 now - my 2.0 is in shrink too.  I have also been thinking that these came with a foldout poster map - or at least the poster map was included in the same packet of stuff.

11. Dice in the original box sets were the standard the old, fragile ones like the ones found in this ebay auction:

http://cgi.ebay.com/GAMMA-WORLD-3rd-Printing-1981-RPG-COMPLETE-TSR-3002-/300585146722?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item45fc455962

They came in a small clear bag.

Second edition dice were smaller than the traditional ones.  Mine are blue (d12, d8, d20, d10), and two are red (d6, d4).  They came in a small clear bag with a white crayon that was wrapped with grey paper.  I can post a picture if you want.

Third edition dice... Not sure on this one.  I recall that it had three blue colored d6 and a grey d6, but they are mixed into my other dice, and I can't remember more.  If I puzzle it out, I will edit this post w/ other info.

Questions 12 and 13: Everything you have listed is exactly how they came.  You left nothing out.

Hope that helps.

GT, so GWQ1, 2 and 3 are 64 page, 64-page, and 32 page books, with removable covers (and not tri-fold, double cover) with NO fold-out maps?

GWQ1, GWQ2 and GWQ3 are all identical; they are 64 page books with no removeable/perforated maps.  The books are all in the normal book format: front cover/pages/back cover.

In all three cases the cover is stapled to the rest of the book.  Not loose and/or tri-fold.

GT

EDIT: Ok, mostly solved the mystery of the dice in the third ed. box.  The box contained 4 d6 and 2 d10.  Three of the d6 were dark blue.  The fourth was grey.  That I remember because I thought it was weird that one would be different.

The two d10's I'm not as sure about.  I think one was white and the other was... dark blue (?)

Again, hope this helps!

Ok and these three modules

GW7 Beta Principle (32-page book, tri-fold cover, fold-out map)
GW8 Gamma Base (48-page book, tri-fold cover, fold-out map)
GW10 Epsilon Cyborgs (48-page book, tri-fold cover, fold-out map)

Each have removable tri-fold covers with fold-out maps?
