OK - my search-fu is not up to the task.  I know that the Cities of Bone boxed set has been discussed somewhere on the Acaeum, but I am not able to find the topic.

I just acquired a really nice Cities of Bone boxed set at Half Price Books in Tacoma, WA.

I notice that my game collection has the other boxed sets listed with their titles under the formula, ALQ2, ALQ3 and ALQ4.

Cities of Bone does not have a number.  

Is the Cities of Bone boxed set ALQ1?  Or is that some other product?  Is it under some other heading?  Were the other boxed sets numbered only as an afterthought?

(My boxed set of Cities of Bone is nearly pristine, by the way.)

Of course, that's not an Acaeum thread.  Searching . . .

ALQ1 was Golden Voyages.

I owned all the boxed sets for a time, and only ALQ1, 2, 3, and 4 had those designations on the box. The other Al-Qadim boxed sets did not have ALQ numbers. (Or at least my printings didn't. I have no idea whether there were printing variations on any of them.)

JohnGaunt and Guy have it correct. The eight thin Al-Qadim boxed sets were:

ALQ1: Golden Voyages (September 1992)
ALQ2: Assassin Mountain (January 1993)
ALQ3: A Dozen and One Adventures (March 1993)
ALQ4: Secrets of the Lamp (October 1993)
Ruined Kingdoms (January 1994)
Cities of Bone (May 1994)
Corsairs of the Great Sea (July 1994)
Caravans (October 1994)

Wow! that is a cool list. I would also add that Al Qadim is well cool and worth picking up (and it is often pretty cheap too :))
