Is there any great soul willing to pick up a copy for me?

500K seems like a lot compared to that RoboCop statue that will only be 50K ("only" in context...)
Actually, a statue of Gary would be better than what they devised imo so maybe better if they do not get the 500K.

Ask me about my new M16!

I hope they have the wisdom to print more than a few hundred copies.  This book has a sales potential in the thousands.

Doubtful it will be just 200 copies when all is said and done.  If you click the link to the memorial fund website you'll notice this blurb at the bottom.

If it does turn out that you can't make it to Gen Con this year, don't fret, the book will be offered right here at gygaxmemorialfund.com after Gen Con. We do this in order to continually show our thanks for the support offered that will make this monument a reality!

It might end up being a bit more expensive that the $30 donation required to pick up a copy at the convention though.

Sadly wisdom is somewhat lacking in what remains of the Gygax clan.

This week I've been mostly eating . . . The white ones with the little red flecks in them.

I always think there has to be more to it than meets the eye.

I have heard the Gygax's wife was skeptical about his game enterprises...but she must have come around once his company took off.

Who is advising the Gygax family about his legacy and publication of his remaining work?  Does anyone know?

Now I have to get a copy because at least one of my questions are in there somewhere.

Sadly, she is not listening to anyone that has the slightest understanding of this hobby.

Sounds a lot like Lorraine Williams and her distruction of TSR. EGG dies and his heirs descimate his legacy. Sad, but that's what heirs tend to do.

I don't know about that. There is Luke and Ernie. Perhaps hope lives.

I would assume that was his 1st wife. He was on his 2nd when he died.

Do you know who is advising her?

The book is a text dump with little editing and no organization, index, or table of contents. But the page numbers are large, to assist you in creating your own.

It does contain gems tucked into the enworldly scree if you dig for them.

So is all the info already available online if you read the threads?
If so, no point in buying a printout.

But the money is going to a good cause, so why not buy one.
