Also interesting to see that Rhea has been selling off his collection since 2003 :)

Maybe riftvalleyman can comment if there is a mass liquidation plan in motion or if the plan is for a few more decades of selling?  I remember the rshelley Ebay account was selling some bulk magazines a few months back but nothing terribly interesting.

EDIT: Actually I think there were a couple of interesting items (Elysiam Timetracker items) but US only.

Kind of funny at all the little blab, blurps and general pokes coming from the peanut gallery.....in the forms of:  "...eventhough I have heard rumors and I have no fucking clue what I am talking about, I will add my 2 c.p. to the mix to get a laugh..."

So, to any/all that want facts....simply email or call....to find out the facts.

It is HYSTERICAL to read all the asides, assumptions and quips from the mundane to the obscure....geez.

So, bearing that in mind...ask away....lets get the stories...rumors and facts straight.

....shall we??

Chris ;)

So just curious if the "selloff" is a serious thing or not?  I keep thinking it is a running joke - its always for sale but not much is really selling.  Also, any pics of the collection (his or yours)?

First things you are going to need:

A list (with accurate descriptions), even a partial list (all the rares);

Some prices (or price suggestions).

Just saying "Got one of everything, lots of rares" is much too vague.

These sorts of huge collections really almost have to be sold on Ebay nowadays to get the best prices.  If no one is bidding against someone else, they are going to want a deal, and from what I remember, Rhea wants premium prices for his stuff.

Too bad you couldn't find one for the color question.

Of course if you didn't know Monty Python I would suspect that you never played an RPG in your life.. always seem to do the movie/monty quote thing..

I ended up with Rhea's DM's copy of Inverness and Tamoachan, Fazzlewood, and Tsojconth. I believe that was around 2004 or so.
