Hi all! Thanks for the notice, my friends!
No, my military days are over. I was asked by a couple buddies to join in and try for Noriega back when he had a bounty on him, but it didn't get organized fast enough before the government moved in and surrounded him. I did train several SEAL units in desert warfare at The Stumps, but I'm sure none of the guys that I had were in on the hit on Been Leaded. It was a hit; make no mistake, they never meant for him to come out alive, which was only common sense. Ditto dumping him at sea.
Sorry I've been AWOL, just been busy as heck. I've popped on about once a week to catch up, but I figured I'd let some other people be Grandstanders too....... I still have a boatload of stuff to offload, I'll post a link now and then. I should have said hello first, that was rude. I'll be on much more often!
On a different tangent, I've been DMing a 1E campaign every few weeks, loads of fun. They used some ridiculously good tactics to take out all three giant compounds with no losses and only FOUR 8th level characters! Gotta park Juiblex around a corner one of these days.......

b) friendly advice: you might want to avoid mentioning 5 day old newborn and bastard in the same paragraph. could confuse people who are quickly scanning the posts....

FWIW:
Get used to not sleeping.
You wont sleep well again for many years to come.
Not that you wont enjoy your time as a parent with the little one(s).
It is just about the most fun you can have (IMO).

BUT even after they are fully-grown and out of the house; being a parent wont end, but near that point you will hopefully get your revenge.

By becoming a grandparent....
That is when the real fun begins…

FWIW, we didn't have any trouble sleeping with infants, after the first 6 - 8 months with each. Trick (with ours, anyway) after they were 5 months old or so was not to go running into the nursery every time they made a noise. They know you're there, and they'll keep crying if they really need you. If they stop after less than a couple minutes, just means they're testing. They'll train you if you don't train them first .

Good advice.  Shall have to tell the wife about that for when ours decides to arrive into the world.
