Tharizdun's post baffles me.   I was the seller of that piece and there was no serious flaw.    The only oddity was that Ned Dameron had painted the Lady of Pain on transparent plastic which is then draped over the background which was painted on board....and this was 100% clear in the listing because I always thought it was a little unusual/didn't want to surprise the buyer.  

I sold it only to make room for new art & the guy who bought it told me he was thrilled when he received it (we corresponded via email).    As if Doug would have ever seen or heard of Dameron's piece, given he only did freelance work for TSR...I can't believe he would have ever seen the Dameron piece in person...and even if by some miracle he did (Gen Con or something?  No idea if Dameron attends/shows art there...), how would it even come up in conversation -  "say do you know this piece by this other artist, I saw it on Ebay and want to know details about it"....gimme a break.  

I'm irritated because "a serious flaw" implies I was dishonest with my listing, when Tharizdun's post here is nonsense.

Anyway - sorry for the negativity but I couldn't let that slide.

The real reason I'm reviving this thread because Melba, Doug's wife, is checking his email and selling some of his art.  She just responded a day or two ago to an email I had sent Doug in early April (shortly before he passed away).   

She is in the process of moving and clearing inventory....so if you have interest in Doug's art you might consider contacting her now (apparently her email will be changing with the move).  Use the same email address that appears on the contact page of the Chaffee Studios website...
