Dear aneoth,

We can combine the shipping cost but not the handling fee. Of 3.00... So it would depend on how many items and the weight of it. But you can guesstimate that you would be saving about .50 cents per item.

A response to my asking if a seller on e-Bay provided for combined shipping and if so under what terms...
Under those overly generour combined shipping terms what I had been thinking of buying (one box game and three books) would cost $25 for US to US shipping.
Instead of $26.50...  And that is for ECONOMY shipping too!
Awesome savings!

ummnnnn aint dat illegal on e-Bay now?
The Handling fee that is?

Anyway, matters little.... I aint giving that seller any of my money.

"Illegal"? *g*

=> http://pages.ebay.com/help/sell/reasona ... pping.html

* Include details on handling costs in your listing. Don't wait until the invoice to tell buyers there's an extra fee.

* If you do charge extra for handling, make sure you show value by packaging these items with care.

etc.

That's what negative feedback is for. You just leave lots of negative feedback, one item at a time over a period of six or eight weeks so it looks as though they get regular negative feedback, just saying their refusal to combine shipping and their handling fees were excessive and their mannner of responding to e-mails was rude and obnoxious.

Someone who charges a handling fee for each auction would not see my money either. Not unless it was something so ridiculously rare I had no other choice... and that's not going to happen.

Those who can, don't. Those who should not, do.
