Got this the other day off of eBay:

It's in awesome shape-and not too expensive-36.00 Cdn.
Strictly an impulse bid-but I was surprised to win it.
Anyone have an Mp3 of the tracks? (I have lots of records but no player)

I have an e-bay standing search for anything with First Quest in the title and it never showed up.  I would have definitely made you pay a lot more for it...  :)

Good score. I imagine the LP version is easier to read than the cassette version.

Thanks for the link-now I'm sure I won't be using this music in my current campaign.
I'll stick with the Bioware AD&D soundtracks and the Conan movie soundtrack, thanks.

That music is awful.  I am very glad I didn't buy an lp player to listen to mine!  

Doesn't stop me from wanting the cassette version but it's of somewhat less interest and lower priority all of a sudden.

I too am now aware that I have been trying to win CRAP for years. 8O
Glad I always came up short. :lol:

There is now one less person looking to be a bidder on the next listing of that piece of D&D. 8)

But can you imagine jogging along the sidewalk while listening to that on your MP3? :idea:

Ah.. Phil Thorton, I didn't know he wrote stuff for D&D. I have some of his later Egyptian albums, the music there is a bit better than this. This must be from his early days.

Still very interesting and would like to get the Mp3s someday.
