I believe this topic was brought up before - but my search-fu sucks.

This came up on the chat tonight and I would like to start an Acaeum newsletter. I can't do a proper one alone. Would anyone like to go in together and get an e-newsletter started. Perhaps even a print newsletter (which I would prefer).

Could you elaborate on the content in the newsletter?

I've been kicking the idea around about asking what are the new up and coming products from whomever that are worth *reading* (not the same as collecting / speculating) but didnt know what forum or if there was even an interest.

If this is something content wise that would make it in, I'll sign up to do something.

Hi Jason,

We actualy had quite a productive discussion on this concept a couple of years ago. I started off the discussion, but my work life changed and I let it go. I found the previous thread here:

I am still interested. I have finished my PhD now and have that worry over, but as some of you know I am now working in Afghanistan. Actually I have a lot more time for writing and such now as I am often locked down in a tight security environment. However, one month out of every three sees me travelling and so my contribution would be inconsistent.

That was also linked to some brainstorming about an RPGCA (Role Playing Game Collector's Association!!!), to which the response was not as positive.

And obviously each issue could be collectible....we are the Acaeum, after all!!!!

That's actually a pretty great thread....I'm going to bounce it back up top as there are a lot of great suggestions there already.  If someone who knows what is what wants to do it, I'll pledge an article for the first issue  (on....something).
