Hi guys!

I gather by now, quite a lot of us use twitter and it'd be interesting to know what everyone's username is so we can follow you.

Mine is http://twitter.com/nev

What's yours?

I decided to stay far, far away from social networking when my mother (in her late 60s) told me a few months back that she is an 89th level Farmer on "Farmville" (Facebook). We owe EGG for a lot of this kind of stuff, not all of it good  :? .

Same here.  No Twitting, Facebooking, or MySpacing for me.  I stay away from World of Warcrack and all those games as well.  I barely get the lawn mowed as it is.  I know people I used to work with that spent an hour or more on Facebook every workday.  Their bosses didnt care because they were doing the exact same thing.

Yeah, I'll never be a Twit or a Loserbooker. I got it out of my system back in the '80s with the local BBSs and FidoNet. My wife still doesn't believe me when I tell her I had e-mail as early as '84.

I succumbed to the peer pressure and got a Facebook account last year to network with friends.

However that's all I use it for... I shut off all other parameters of the program, and there is no public access either.

F&@k twitter...

omg spelling... I fixed it..

RPG’s, D&D in particular has had a major influence in my life. It’s bonded me together with life long friends...it’s that bond in life not just as friends, but in our jokes, our mannerisms, and what we find funny. Invincible Overlord

On facebook but generally only check it once every few weeks.

Avoid Twitter like the plague.  I have never had a cell phone or smart phone either.  I'm actually rather anti-technology.

Thought: Is "Plaag" pronouced similar to "plague" or more like "pl-aaaaaagh"?  I'm guessing the latter.

Hi,

I have a Facebook account.

It is used:

1 for the Missus to play Mafia Wars

2 to find out what my Scouse relatives are doing

Cheers,
Malc

I think I might be an addict.  8O

I joined Twitter, but don't see the point, so haven't used it.

I am a regular Facebook user though, in touch with many friends and desperately trying to arrange charity events, so it is a real boon for me.

Cheers
Dave

I have no friends, no relatives, no dogs, and my boxed sets don't like to "twit" so I don't need twitter

Wow - harsh!
Obviously a bad assumption on my part.
Is it because I'm in tech?

Hmmmm, perhaps Twitter users do fall into 2 camps - techies or Justin Bieber fans...
