How do we go about researching recent sales for specific items, or goups of items.

Such as Monster & Treasure Assortment sets... over say the past two months.

Can't. Ebay restricted completed auction viewing to the last 15 days a while back. Auction listings are still around for 90 days but you can't search for them using Ebay search. Your best bet might be to do a google search (maybe with Ebay also included as a keyword) and see what Ebay auctions pop up.

OK I would settle for last 15 days.
How do we do that then?

When I worked at T&T, I used a program called Terapeak. It is fairly expensive and I debated purchasing it when we parted ways, but I ultimately decided against it because buying and selling M:TG cards is ridiculously different than Board Games and RPG's. One has a plethora of Information and values change every week and ... one doesn't. If you plan on using it constantly, its well worth it but if you are just curious about something, I wouldn't recommend it.

I used a lot of the extra tools they had as well. It really is very useful when you are trying to get an edge on competitors. I kept track of the biggest ebay sellers in RPG"s, what they sold, what they bought etc etc.

You only need an ebay account for that. Search for whatever you're looking for and then on the left side of the page there should be a link for "completed auctions."

Do a regular search for:

Monster Treasure Assortment*

I get results for 9 items and 1 International. Then on left hand side under "Show Only" click the box for "completed auctions". Here I get 9 completed + 4 International.

Thanks guys.
Found the exact item I was looking for.
Someone shipped me an item that should have been shipped to someone else.
There was NOTHING inside the package, or the item to tell me who/what/when/where....
The Tracking info did me no good either, just confired I got it and from who (Real person, not E-Bay ID)...

I did not even know who the seller was (E-Bay ID that is).
Once I found the exact listing I was able to determine who the seller was.
Now I am Going to get in contact with the seller and get this shipped to the right person...

NICE items though....

It's a little more than that You can save sellers, monitor sales trends, basically see how much a certain item sells. Its just a lot more information than you think. I didn't even use all of the available tools because there were so many of them. Its def not a casual buyers/sellers program and its definitely not just auction history.
