Well.. I don't usually worry about much these days but it looks like I'll be in for a bit of bad weather..

http://www.bom.gov.au/products/IDQ65002.shtml

Cat 5 (unfortunatly the highest you can go..) is heading my way.. you start to get a bit concerned when its described as "THIS IMPACT IS LIKELY TO BE MORE LIFE THREATENING THAN ANY EXPERIENCED DURING RECENT GENERATIONS."  and on top of that its in CAPS!

Fingers crossed...

Brette:)

Jeez Brette, sorry to hear about all the horrendous weather you guys have been having. Do you guys have storm cellars?

Wishing you the best.  Stay safe.  Run!

When a hurricane came my way in Savannah many years ago, I left.  The hurricane mostly missed us, but it was the right decision.   8)

Brette:

That map is scary.  8O

If you live anywhere near those Cat 5 winds and have to stay...I will say a prayer for you tonite.

Good luck. Hopefully you have enough 'provisions' (read: Foster's) for a couple of days. That's how we get through those in Puerto Rico!

It looks like the good news is that it is no longer heading directly at you.  You are only bordering on "destructive winds" and "very destructive winds" :(

Hope everything pulls through okay.

Aussies are tough.  Someone tells 'em a tsunami is coming and everyone breaks out their surfboards.  I'll bet a few windsurfing records will be broken this week.

Seriously....good luck Brette.
