Not too bad, all in all.

I had some bits sitting in an (unfortunately) cardboard box by the radiator. The bottom of the box is soaked thru, but all the books were on their ends, and the box was tight packed. 2 books are slightly wavey, presumably because of the moisture and heat combo, but I think they will flatten. All the rest are OK.

Right beside my box was all the stuff Beasterbrook has been having posted to me, when he does a UK buy. Fortunately for him (and me), I had put all his stuff into a plastic carrier so it wouldnt get mixed up with mine. So it was all fine

Carpet is not good, and need a new rad. Ho hum.

But nothing serious damaged

Just out of curiosity, what was it that was leaking?  Water?

Our house has always had electric heat, so I don't have homeowner's experience with radiators.

Radiators usually use water, but there are such creatures as oil-filled radiators.  But whole house radiator systems just use water.

Your home obviously isn't safe at this time.  You should probably send your entire collection to a trusted Acaeum member, like myself for instance, right away for safekeeping.  I'm happy to oblige, and I have a very secure, temperature controlled storage area and lots of room.
