Hi,

one of the UK TV channels, Channel 4, is having a "Top 100 Toys" vote.

D&D is on the shortlist.

Anyone like to vote, to try and get it as high as possible please?

Cheers,
Malc

These top 100 shows can be quite fun, if over long at about 3-4 hours.  I'm guessing it will be broadcast over Xmas and D&D will presumably feature as there are only 100 "toys" in the list.
Often these are only quick mentions alongside a number position in the chart, but often they have a couple of minutes feature alongside with a personality supporting the cause.
Now, who would be the famous (UK) personality who plays D&D?

Hi,

well, D&D made number 3!

They even accused the D&D online community of skewing the vote :)

BTW, Monopoly was 2nd, and Lego was 1st.

Cheers,
Malc

They even put in LRP (LARPers) into the visual mix to confuse D&D with LiveAction... and they used late 70s earlier 80s footage for the scenes of science nerds and GM rolling a dice behind classic GM screen and and I think GW floorplans with lead painted Ral Partha minis...

D&D = 3rd on the top 100 greatest toys... fantastic... could be an influx of new gamers looking to try it out.. which is a good thing...

Yours
Seany
