If anybody hasn't seen it, Antiques Roadshow is a TV program where you can bring just about any item you think is collectible or valuable to a forum where experts put a dollar value on it for you and even sometimes tell you its history.

The show is interesting because these experts are very knowledgable, they seem to know alot about everything that's brought to them.  They can tell you all about the history and value of some odd obscure piece of china or art or ephemera that anybody else would assume was junk.  I've never seen them stymied by anything.  (Of course, maybe they don't film those parts.)  

So I wonder how the they would handle a Woodgrain or an Orange Silver Princess, or an STI-1, etc.  Would they even know what they were looking at if somebody brought one to them?  Would they think it was just junk?  I've always wondered this.

And of course they film much more than they show, which is only the parts the editor/director/producer felt was interesting to their audience...

Its been a few years since I've watched it..    

I have always pictured my children or grandchildren on Antiques Roadshow with the best example from my collection.  That would be interesting.
