Which would you run? I12: Egg of the Phoenix or the R-series?

I am assuming they are related to each other, with I12 being a sort of super-module of the former, but I cannot compare them... I only have 2 of the R series and both are in shrink.

So open the shrink.

R1 and R2 are separate stand-alone adventures.

R3-R4 is the abbreviated story of the Egg of the Phoenix.

Ah, well, this then sucks for me as the two Rs I have are 1 and 3.

Thanks for the information.

While we're on the topic, is the compilation (I12) more or less the same in content as R1 - R4, or are there significant redactions/additions? I'm not likely to be in the market for the R-series soon, but would like to read them. If I12 is a good option, then I might pick one up.
