Does this include magazines as "individual items"?  I would guess i have about 1000 of just those.

Okay, so now I had to go look at my spreadsheet... I came in at 1223.  That doesn't count mags, novels, or anything I have marked for replacement/upgrading.

Mars is right - with mags, that number would skyrocket.  Probably jumps over 2000 with mags.

I think I've just scared myself.  Thanks a lot.   :D

I have between a third to half of my collection photograped and catalogued.  The number of items came to 681.  Which doesnt include magazines.  Not that that makes much difference since I probably only have about 50 Dragon, Dungeon, and Space Gamer mags altogether.

I wonder how many threads there are on The Acaeum regarding this topic?

I have no idea, since I keep no kind of inventory, spreadsheet or otherwise.

My collection mostly fills up a large bookshelf.

And only TSR items!

Generally, do we speak only for TSR items or for all items in our collection? Only D&D related books?

Hi there,

I have a loft filled with just my collection, around 70 boxes (plastic large) and around 50 cardboard Large, 70ish of the printer paper 5reem cardboard boxes small, as well as my office with over 200feet of shelving filled with current games/rpg/boardgames/CCGs, and the boxes say another 40ish - floor to upto 8feet in height with boxes, and an alcove with large original packaging items D&D Icons figure, boardgames long forgotten cause I just cant get into the alcove anymore..

That does not include any magazines (dragon/dungeon/WD/imagine/polyhedron) amongst others, or my boxes of figures, metal in blisters resin plastics (those are last count were over 12,000 figures in 2001)

As too individual count of unique books, no clue sorry

so I guess I am a horder or as my partner says rubbish non recycler...

Now I feel depressed having just explained 34 years of collecting...

yours
Seany
