Hi folks. I just saw an auction of an item which I've been looking after since 2005 (yes, that's true). But, of course, it is US-only. I tried to contact the seller asking whether he's willing to sell to Europe, and I'm waiting for his answer, but just in case he doesn't want to, I am asking for help. Is there anybody willing to assist me? Better if he's good at sniping, since I'm ready to place a large amount and wouldn't want someone raising the bid 5-6 times in the last minute just trying to beat me.

It is something that I really like on Acaeum forums, the kind help offers that members immediatly make any times we have a problem

I never had any problem to find US or UK "proxy" for my transactions too.

So as not to clutter the board with a separate, related thread.. Can anyone point me to where on eBay you can selectively allow international bidders to bid on your auctions? I don't want to open the floodgates, just allow specific individuals who ask to bid. TIA
