How in the hell do you review your team or the league. I can't seem to find anyway to log into the yahoo acaeum league?
I know I am not great at the internet, but this is crazy. Help!

You sign into Yahoo.

You click on "Sports" (look off to the left, in a long list of topics).

You desperately hunt about on the Sports screen until you notice a very tiny tab labeled "Fantasy.'

You click on "Fantasy"

"You desperately hunt about on the Fantasy screen until you notice that your team name appears in a box in the lower right in very small print.

You click on your team name and wait while Yahoo decides whether or not it wants to load the page.

If Yahoo is in a good mood...you win.

Of course...sometimes this does not work because Yahoo looks different that day.

Apparently Yahoo locks up the teams some time before the start of each week's games.  I was considerably annoyed yesterday when I went online to remove Brett Favre as my starting quarterback and found that lineup changes were not available even though the game had not yet started.

Yes, what form critic said....

go to

http://sports.yahoo.com/

At the tippy top it will either say Hello to you, or "new user?Register" and next to that is "sign in".  Sign in if it did not already know who you were...

Then you hold your cursor over the red box at the upper left that says "fantasy", and it will display your teams and whatnot.

Good luck!

Odd start to the season.  In the Acaeum Collector's league, I had the lowest scoring team.  In the Luddite league, I had the highest scoring team.  Must make more moves....

Boy, this thread has been dormant for a while. Four weeks into the season, it needs some CPR. So I'll take the opportunity to brag about my teams...

In the ACL, the Flailing Minotaurs are undefeated in 1st place. Some canny pickups on draft day have seen the Minotaurs field a pretty good team each week - Austin, DJax, MJD, Foster, Boldin - and even my hack quarterback Manning is doing OK. I think I'm going to run the table this year.

In the Luddite league things aren't so rosy. The Gelatinous Cubes suffered a defeat this week, putting them in 2nd place on the table. 2nd place! They're almost too ashamed to show their faces(?) and do their regular patrol of the dungeon corridors, looking for unwary 1st level adventurers. In their defence, the loss can be attributed to several key injuries (Best, Jackson) and with Vick getting squished it meant my all-Eagle WR corps could do nothing when Kolb came off the bench. I'm sure they'll bounce back (as only a Gelatinous Cube can) this week and give the Iguanas a decent sliming.

Who thinks their team has the goods this year?

Sad, sad season for both the Ladies of Pain and the Screaming Iguanas.  So far.  But they are just looking weak, waiting to make their move a bit later in the season.  Many, many moves, if past history is any indication.  But they will never give up.  Never! PDT_Armataz_01_36

It's not how you start, but how you finish. The last two years I was flying high in the Acaeum League only to crash in the playoffs. Sad truth is the best players on the best teams often are benched towards the end of the year to rest them before the playoffs.  Think I'll bide my time this year and wait until a later week to make my move....!

I really should check my team, although I'm expecting them to be consistent so far.
Just need to take Plaags muppets to the cleaners...

Yeah... checking your team is something you should do every week. Benching the injured players and those on a bye, and putting in players who are actually playing that week.

It only takes a few minutes to ensure you have a fully active roster each week. It gives you a chance to win, and it makes the overall competition better for everyone.

As an example, you could consider putting in Best (points to date - 69) for Kevin Smith (PTD - 3). As Best is the starter in Detroit and Smith the lowly backup, your team will do much better.

Thanks! I'll have a butchers today... The last changes I made, managed to make my team a whole lot worse!

EDIT - you say minutes, but Aussie time and my UK time is clearly different, as I took 20minutes last time and screwed my team.

Thanks, looking much stronger!

Time to kick some ass and get myself up the table... The Eclavdra's Giants took a hard one from me in gameweek 2. I have no idea how I scored 142points!

they probably felt sorry for you so you got a triple-point boost or something to not make it look so embarassing :)

You have the goods in the Luddite's League; I said so after the draft, and I expect the Cubes to dissolve my team completely this weekend.

The Smarmy Shrinkwraps are very, very good, and Avur's scary Purple Sizzurp that have me worried.  Mike's Shrews look like they'll make a major move up the rankings soon.

We can never count out LJ....ever.

I think we may have a year where two or three .500 teams make the playoffs.

Weird year point-wise for me so far, and I've been lucky.  Damn CJ for not living up to his potential. :P

Best,

Paul

p.s. All the teams are strong; I just went with the top four as I see things now.  The Dead Last Dynasty and Shark Bait are dangerous, and it would not surprise me if they the made a move up the rankings quickly.

Even a stopped clock tells the right time twice a day, and for once I'm inclined to believe...we are indeed drifting into the arena of the unwell.
