And most of the al quaeda terrorist sites have gone dead, too.

Is There A Connection?

Those Satanists are long overdue for a reunion tour. The hobby isn't the same without them. They made us look edgy and dangerous, giving our like minded-nerdiness a rebellious patina when mixed in doses with hair metal rock.  :)

Nothing here but winds, hail and lots of rain, I just dodged it.  Should see if Doug is ok, one of the storm centers was right near his house.

Someday after the gargoyle has passed away, Bud Selig's reign as Baseball's commissioner will be remembered as 20+ years of stupidity.

Bud Selig has made some unwise decisions, no doubt, and some that have harmed the long-term viability of the sport. I don't think I have agreed with anything he's actually done. But I suppose we should extend him a little grace -- his tenure has covered some of the most challenging times for the sport - the strike, changing tastes, steroids, internet age, etc.

Proof of global warming! I'll chant a few positive affirmations to Mother Gaia as penance, hoping for the day when we ban all fossil fuels forever.

Proof of global warming?  I thought that someone near Dallas was tearing up SW items...

I don't get it:

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/artic ... me_oneline

She is barely attractive. If you put here on the streets of Dallas, she wouldn't rate a glance. I can go to the local mall in nearby Grapevine, and in five minutes find a dozen women that are infinitely better looking.  Is this a US vs UK think?  Is she considered beautiful in the UK?  Is she just making this shit up, or are standards different across the pond?  If this woman gets people buying her bottles of wine and champagne for her looks, that's puzzling.

This article is getting a lot of play because of the subject matter, but the entire point isn't a point when you don't represent that which you are writing about. I might as well write about my experiences being a hispanic in Texas (I'm not hispanic, just like this girl isn't beautiful).

Hi,

no, she isnt.

This is a bit of publicity by a journo trying to become famous (any publicity is good publicity)

She has appeared on several daytime TV programs today, and I can only hope that she is thick-skinned, because shes taken a hell of a lot of flack.

General opinion is shes overdosed on her HRT and had a complete brain malfunction.

Cheers,
KAL

Thank you!  I was seriously questioning what the hell was going on.

I guess she's getting her 15 minutes though, she's been all over the media.

I'm thinking of a campaign where I declare I get all sorts of freebies from girls because of my hot bod.  During the interview I'll have a NTRPG con t-shirt on. Can't hurt.

I assumed that wearing an NTRPG Con T-Shirt would get a person all sorts of freebies from women. That's why I am buying one, in any case.

But seriously back to being on topic in the off-topic thread, there was a girl working behind the bar at GaryCon who makes the woman being discussed look like a troll. Either this woman doesn't own a mirror or needs glasses. She is not unattractive, but really . . . C'mon now.

Attitude has a lot to do with it. The less than hottest women can sometimes be the belle of the ball because of the way they pull it off. Acting attractive matters a lot.
