Seven Teams are returning from last season so far, but we need at least Three more teams and Five more (12 total) would be better.

This is a fun league with standard rules and scoring, with very good competition too.

See link above...

Maybe I can get my little brother to join again and he can win the league without making a single transaction all season. Man, was that humbling or what.

Sorry I will be unable to peek over your shoulder this year, Mike.  And everyone knows Tim Tebow is the man!

The autopick looked after you pretty well, Mike. Unlike a couple of other teams in the league who got shafted. Sidney Rice in round 2? Unfortunate.

My autodrafted team will win this league, while my hand-picked team for my other league will tank. Bank on it.

I'm opening up the Luddite league for anyone who wishes to join. We need one more but could field three more (for ten teams).  It's a very competetive league and I get my ass kicked all over the place every single year. Password is "acaeum" should you need it, but the link should take you right there:

Absolutely no idea what my team players are like, but at least some seem reasonably good...

Houstons QB, SF RB & a NYG WR should see me comfortably spank the Lesions of Plaag...

You don't have a chance.  Sadly I'll only get to beat you once since you won't make it to the playoffs.

Although having just made 3 changes to the No-Hopers, I've managed to cut nearly 20 points from the predicted score...

Hated to miss the on-line live draft in the Luddites League.
In case some did not know it; I hate the Autodraft, but it could not be avoided this time.

Still it did select some good players as starters and I dropped several players I do not like from the bench to the WW.
Then put in my request for replacement players.
Got a better starter for the Flex (Tim Hightower!), and several upside WRs who may or may not pan out.

Hard to understand why Hightower was on the Waiver Wire at all (Even in an 8 team league).  :?
I suppose no Warner and no Boldin caused EV1 else to pass on the ARZ starting RB for other players.
But Beenie Wells was taken... and early on too... (5th round) yet Tim Hightower was on the Waiver Wire?   :?
I guess folks do not believe Tim will retain the starting job and that is obviously possible.
But from what I have seen so far (Last season, and pre-season this year) Beenie does not want the job badly enough to take it from Tim.
Anyway, I was very happy to get Hightower, even though it cost me the #4 Waiver spot for next week.

I have already made 5 WW Drop/Add moves before the season even started and I am ahead of all other teams in that regard.
That might be the only thing I lead this league in all season long and it is unlikely that I lead in that area for long either.

You don't like the auto-draft, Gnat?

It is nice to not be in the lead in the "moves" column, but if the past two years are anything to go by, I will surge ahead in that area, as my self-doubt, second-guessing and general waffling around come to the fore.

Speaking of which, the Iguanas love Purple Sizzurp on their waffles.  Yum!

You see, I can read the words, but have absolutely no idea what you have just said...

Probably explains my lack of form after thumping Plaags Lesions last year...

Well the Shark Bait team has now made a sixth Waiver Wire move.
Dropped Stafford (QB-DET) who I like as a backup QB this season.
Unfortunately Stafford has the same BYE week as Schaub (my Starting QB).
Stupid Autodrafter...
I had planned to make this move first, but decided to wait to see how those other Drop/Add moves went first.

ashmire.
Let me know if I can clarify anything specific from one of my posts.

I like my autodraft for the Acaeum league better than my live draft for the Luddite league.  You really have to tweak the Draft Editor to get a good mix of players and positions.

Gnat, dont worry, there's insufficient time in this lifetime to explain the ins and outs of 'Waivers' and everything else. I'll just make sure Plaag feels the pain...  8)

Mike, I agree: the autodraft actually does quite a good job.  I almost let it run while I watched and chatted. ;)

Gnat, I liked the team drafted for you, though the Cubes and the Dead Last Dynasty look scary and drafted live.  It should be an interesting year.

Mike, any chance we can figure out why I can't add/drop players sitting on the bench during game day this year?  I usually have to wait for the game day results to be finalized--3:00 a.m. or so--until I can move players.

Good luck to everyone, though we all know LJ will win again. :P

Best,

Paul

Even a stopped clock tells the right time twice a day, and for once I'm inclined to believe...we are indeed drifting into the arena of the unwell.

Have you tried it yet this year? Maybe all will be well. You were the only one I know who had that problem last year.
