Regardless of the $$ being asked, I wonder whose pre-pub this was: it's certainly different from the other copy, IIRC;

(the PHB and DMG are common by comparison, of course).

More awesome stuff from amadadub
This one though is starting at what seems a very high price to me.
Do these not sell for less than half this much?

Less than a quarter, usually. She has probably already sold a Guidon copy and thought this TSR box would get a similar result.

Oh Gary, a bit more clarity, please? :)

Does anyone have a postmarked SR#2 on-hand: my copy's awol at present?
"There are all sorts of pending projects, and THE STRATEGIC REVIEW #2 is at the printers, so the 7 April date should be met with relative ease" really doesn't scan well as a stand-alone sentence written one full month before-hand if the previous sentence is to be read as an exasperated remark about "finally" having the other product back from the printers, given that that would've been at most a five week turn-around from the foreword date in Greyhawk for a far, far larger print job.

7th April is a strange coincidence if it wasn't. ^^

I didn't see this posted, but a R1 ending very soon. A little on the high side for the condition but I've seen worse.

Seller has a R2 in similar condition also.

Hey everyone,

Advanced Dungeons & Dragons Monster Manual

** expired/removed eBay auction **

Seller describes it as a 4th print, but the picture for the item looks like a 1st print.

Best regards,
Ronald

Hey everyone,

Not an interesting item per say but I do have a question about it.

1979 DUNGEONS & DRAGONS VINTAGE BASIC ROLE-PAYING GAME SET

** expired/removed eBay auction **

Referring to the picture from the seller showing the bottom of the boxed set.
What is that "stuff" on the bottom of the box? Is that mold? Or just dirt?

Best regards,
Ronald

Brown Mold
Pg 71
Monster Manual

If you have access to a White Dragon, it's breath may kill it.

Another alternative.
Buy the box, then soak liberally in gasoline (OUTSIDE THE HOUSE) then burn it yourself.

Or... Pass on that listing and save your money and the money for the lighter and gas.

Two SWed TSR modules with a BIN

A TSR handout from one of the early box sets, SWed X1 and SWed A1
Unfortunately, A1 is a clear cut example wherein the shrink wrap should have been removed about 30 years ago.
The other module looks great though.

I don't think I've ever come across an X1 in shrink before.

I have one too, so they can't be too rare ;)

I had one a long time ago, but sold it shortly after aquiring it from a large lot on e-Bay.
I seldom hang onto SWed items for long.
Perfer to be able to open/read/play the stuff instead.
The only one I had for very long was a nice OB-3 in SW, but even that one is now in the collection of another collector.

Does not mean I wont buy SWed items if they are priced right...

Even I have one in the shrink. So it isn't all that rare. I1 comes up often in the shrink.
