That is a spanky  new site.  Nothing seems to have the same draw as the old stuff for me.  Ita just not the same.

So Lorraine was Gary's first wife, and Gail was his second?

No, Mary was his first wife.  Lorraine was the person who stole TSR from him.

Have you seen L?!
Can you honestly imagine anyone wanting to jump into the sack with her?

L's daddy bought his daugher a little company to play with, but like most spoilt kids, they got the wrong present. She hated geeky gamers because they wouldn't date her in high school, and being obese, she considered it an affront that her last bastion of dignity for getting a date wouldn't consider her worthy of their time. So she carried an almighty chip on her shoulder from years of being spurned by guys and made no secret of the fact that she hated the customer base of the company daddy bought her.

So she ran it into the ground, but not before drawing a decent amount of money from it. Enough to keep her in icecream for decades to come.

So upseting the rubbish that TSR published towards the end.  Tatt and shameless remakes of classics....Rogues Gallery and Dungeon Masters Design Kit spring to mind.  TSR were a booming company.  It shows what bad leadership can achieve. :(

I've seen a couple of the games this year, and IMO, Trinity could beat a lower division college team......seriously.  300 lb Tongan offensive lineman tend to open up a few holes and pancake a few of the opposition, especially at the high school level, but I bet they could pound a few Ivy League schools if they had to.  I Half the team already has scholarships and last year's state champion team sent quite a few athletes to Division One schools like A&M.  Should be a fun playoff season for my alma mater, looking for another State Championship here and possibly #1 in the US....

When I saw the school, all I could think of was the,"Tongan Pipeline" you mentioned.  I was amazed there weren't more teams from Texas in the top ten!  I guess Trinity knocked them all out.

I'd pay to see Trinity against Princeton, especially after they scare the hell out of them with the Haka! :)

More bad news for Canadian PowerSellers:
The Canada Revenue Agency launched the probe about two years ago and initially focused on all eBay Canada "PowerSellers" in 2004 and 2005, which totalled about 10,000 people. The agency recently told eBay Canada it plans to expand the investigation to include all PowerSellers in 2006 and 2007 as well, putting several thousand more people under review.

I don't know of any Canadian RPG Powersellers, but Revenue Canada can get quite nasty. They're almost as bad as Canada Customs.

Well, it comes down to the fact you should pay taxes on your items, or be damn sure you are set up as a hobby (losing more money every month than you are making).  If you do one of those two things it should be no problem, otherwise you were living on borrowed time anyway.

Hi,

yes, no sympathy at all.

The Missus routinely reports sellers she regards as "competition" (once they've been around long enough)  to the IR. Or sellers who just annoy her.   :D

Cheers,
Malc

This is the reason that I always strived to be just under the wire never a powerseller!  It worked :)

Of course I do not sell through Ebay at all now :?

I don't think I could ever sell more than a few odds.  The whole idea scares the hell out of me :)

We should start a Canadian Corner: a Bloc perhaps ;)

Heads up for anybody shipping to Canada. There is a Canada Post strike of their administrative and technical staff over sick days that could spread as slowdowns to the other Canada Post employees.
