I'm sure everyone's response will be "that's for me to know and for you to find out"  :D

Yes. Easy enough to tell and has been told several times before. ;)

misterspock wrote:edit: oh I see what you're saying from the Q&A now. Since no mention of a printing date on the first three books, it means it's a 1st...

Of course, that helps.
For the books, at least.

aside: Since I haven't received a reply yet, consider exercising due restraint and ask all appropriate questions when a seller has comments like "This is only a sample of what I see. I know nothing about the stuff, I purchased it at an auction and some one said it should sell." on their listing (carried forward from 2008, at least...)

That wouldn't be March 5, 2008, would it?  :D

Do we all agree it's a second?  If so, seems like a pretty good price considering the 'extras', no?

Considering the minty recent one, not too bad.

I am not sure it is still an interesting item in this condition but... A Boot Hill

** expired/removed eBay auction **

Laminated ring-bound book. N.B. We do not know whether this was published in this format of has been

bound later for wargaming use.  Evidence would suggest that it was bound by hand at a later date.

published in 1975 by Tactical Studies Rules Dimensions: 16cm x 21cm x 1cm

34 pages with black & white illustrations

In fair condition. Has seen action. Pages yellowed with age and  a couple look a little 'chewed' at top edge. There is some discolouration/brown staining especially around rings. Covers slightly scratched and grubby.

Adventures in Austerion : a fantasy RPG, with boardgame mechanisms and modular battlemap. By Guillaume Tavernier and Géraud G.

No, it's $32.50 and the seller in question is still refusing to answer my questions plus has added a single comment to make the situation even less clear.
Where do you see that comment on the 1st woodgrain + 2nd chainmail sale or any indication that I was referring to that rather than a different auction, aside, as stated?

I'm confused, which auction are you referring to?

It's not exactly hidden from sight...

If you see that text, "consider exercising due restraint and ask all appropriate questions", as stated. Not that that shouldn't /always/ be the default.
Worth reiterating in this particular case, though.

Might be mis-remembering here (not out of the question), but isn't this the seller who sold a photocopy of PoVQ on a Yahoo auction a few years ago?
