*Bump*

Who is going to GenCon 2009?

Can we work out a way to buy the latest Goodman product...or whatever else is going to be released only at GenCon by someone cool?

Any ideas on what's going to be cool?

Mark;

I understand the Goodman product is going to be the same thing sold at the NTRPG Con except with the Gencon Logo instead of the NTRPG logo.  We still have copies available if you want, just email me.

Clearly the NTRPG logo version will be of much more value! :D

Anybody auction one yet? I have an exta and I am curious as hell. It is not the money, but the reaction on ebay that I think would be fascinating.

And I could've bought these damn modules off the 1$ rack!!!

I noticed this over on the Gen Con forums and thought that some people might be interested in a gander at all of the Tower of Gygax events from 2008.  You can download the .pdf here:

They just released an updated version (in PDF) that includes a short adventure that I wrote for them last year.
A note on their web site indicated that they would probably print some for Origins and Gencon.
I will of course compensate you for postage, packaging etc. to ship the item to me.

Cancel request - Chaosium sent me a printed copy. :D

Auction Update:

Not much for goodies as yet, but in the auction preregs we have a couple of NucWars in 1st or 2nd (Doug not FBI) and 2 Gorgonstar Titans. No tasty RPG items yet.

Caveats:

Most folks don't preregister until the week before the con.
Items pre-regged are not guaranteed to be there.

This is the first one I have noticed.

BIN is $34.99 but I honestly do not think it will sell for that, unless some newbie sees it and jumps on it for some reason (It happens all the time, so why not for this one?).

Most of the folks who know what it is also know that Doug and Mike have dozens and dozens of copies left at less than HALF that BIN price.

That's strange.  I noticed that "Against the Romb of Horrors" was listed in the contents as "Additional Material" but it doesnt have a page number.  And you are correct....it's not there.  No biggie....I have a copy.

Besides the DCC Tomb of the Blind God Gen Con release, I assume that Goodman will also have last year's competition adventure available.  Troll Lord has a couple of new releases as well.  James Ward's Tainted Lands box set looks particularly interesting IMO.

Hi,

normally I'd be happy too, but I am travelling back via Budapest, and I can't, sorry.

Cheers,
Malc

Enjoy your trip to both places, Malcolm!

Is anyone else going?

It's just that Malc is always famished at the end of a convention. Very Hungary.
