Don't forget the TAXES....

and

Don't forget to avoid that B1 train wreck.  Man, I'm so glad I got kicked out of that game last year. ;)

Hello Mrs. Cleaver, Theodore.

Gee, Mrs. Cleaver ... That certainly is a lovely dress.

I'll try and stay in chat tonight as much as I can to answer any questions... have had some about registration etc.

It's convincing the wife that the Con is not just working from June 6 - June 9... there are other commitments, and work to be done..

being at the last chat before registration is one of those :)

Yes Jon, and you fell of the list of attendees having made it to every Con ... that list gets shorter every year

Showing up wearing clown makeup, a Monkees T-shirt, and no pants will make that happen, Smarmy.

140 registered, with 53 days to go.  Wasn't total attendance last year around 150?  Maybe Doug will finally break even this year.   :D

No problem, if we could get the list of special guests down to less than two dozen....but then, it wouldn't be the NTRPG con, would it???

Event registration went really smoothly, so far as I could tell. Good job, Doug and Mike.

Fortunately I put my time off request a few months ago so I will be there this year!!!  No More Excuses!!!

Just a few pieces of info about the con:

We have surpassed last year's total of attendees already (at 166 as of today), and I suspect we will top 200 by June. Thanks to everyone who has supported us over the years!  We are a niche con, but apparently there are a lot of us who love that particular niche.....

Any interest in a Old School RPG Trivia contest at this year's con?  I've been thinking about something like this for a few years now.  It would not be for the faint-hearted....the stuff on the quiz, if you don't know your stuff, you'd have no idea (googling would be completely useless).  I've assembled some questions over the years I'd love to drop on an audience of know-it-alls.  As our slots are all full this year, it would have to be a paper quiz only, but if I can get a slot at a future con, I'd love to make it a one hour entertainment bit.  Anyone?

Something Doug and I have been working on has paid off, in spades.  Not naming any author or product, but there may be something available at the con that was published about 30+ years ago and is quite rare and collectible.  "Am I going to be interested in this item?" you say. Are you an Acaeum member? Do you want to bet against us?  Of course you don't, which means be sure you have your money in hand when you walk into NTRPG Con this June.  Trust me on this one.

Remember if you have registered and you find  you cannot attend, we do not give refunds, but we will convert your fee into raffle tickets. Speaking of, here is the latest list of goodies available.  Surely worth $10 for a couple tickets at five bucks a pop, and you are supporting old school gaming, what could be better?

(you must attend to receive the reimbursement)

As you probably already know, Jeff Easley will be at the con, and so will the Limited Edition art prints we have commissioned from him for Acaeum members.  Jeff's table will be in the far upper right corner of the large ballroom when you walk in, and through the help of Chris Fuller (benjoshua) we will be able to give anyone who is on the list their print at the con.  Jeff will be signing them at the table if you really want to see it get done! Right now we are not sure if the prints will be at Jeff's booth or at my booth in front, since Chris or I have to be with them at  all times, but just look for one of us at the con and we can help you out.  Definitely pay a visit to Jeff and welcome him to his first ever NTRPG con and thank him for those great classic illustrations!

Actually Bill I'd like to run some of the questions by you to determine their difficulty, but if you would rather particpate I completely understand. I seriously think most of these questions are ridiculously difficult, but maybe I'm underestimating you guys.  I'll figure out a format and let you guys know.....
