Welcome, and third time's the charm.  You should post such things in the Classifieds forum here:

Nice collection of items. The more rare items will most likely pass beyond my reach, but I'm interested in the earlier WDs. Nice to see some other UK items available, helps on P&P generally!

Good luck with it all and welcome to the community, hope you stay even though you sell your items.  :)

Thanks Ashmire.

I think I will hang around whatever happens to the items.  Genuinely sad to be selling it - got married last year - and trying to raise a bit of extra cash.  Keeping back a few items though, like my core AD&D rulebooks - if we have children, i'd like to play the game again one day with them when they are old enough...we'll see.

As I mentioned, D&D was my life between the ages of 10-16 or so, and I have hugely fond memories of playing the game; went to loads of Games Days and one Games Fair - was lucky enough to meet the late Gary Gygax once who wrote a wonderful personal inscription about 'always making my saving throw' and signed my Players Handbook for me.

Thanks again.

  Exactly the same for me!

Always wise to keep your original core books though, both for future play and sentimental reasons...

Nice touch with your PHB!  8)

Now that's the smart way to do it - I got rid of all mine and then had to buy them all over again to play with my kids.

Good luck with your auctions!

just as an aside, you may want to read thru some of the threads about dodgy buyers and who to be wary of.
princessfreya/cougar thread in this section is a good start, as is Shady dealer.
It should give you a few you may want to block from your auctions to save you getting shafted and added to the Cougs role of honour...!

Well, I was kinda hoping this one might have gone under the radar, given that it was listed under Fiction Books.  But based on the current price, I guess not.

Based on the forum valuation, I thought I had a shot at it at $150.  Guess not!

Forum valuation?  This is the first copy of this that I have ever seen.  Considering the number of TSR collectors, this could easily go for stupid money like ST1 or even a planescape sketchbook.

I've been watching it for a few days now too.

I think you guys forget sometimes that I started collecting seriously a little over a year ago.  I have no idea how often things come around, etc.  I know I haven't seen one in a year.   :D

I've been trying to track one down for years. I've never seen the illustrations that Jim Holloway did for them and wanted to use them on his website. Sigh. I don't think that will be happening any time soon!  8O  That price is in the "ouch" category for me.

If anyone from here wins it let me know, I have a slight proposition for he/she/them.

Based on the final amount ( 8O ), you might need to make it bigger than slight!

If I had won that, I'd just provide the scans for free...but hey, that's just me! :)

I was hoping to provide them free, but I can understand if they don't want to.

My guess is they will be either free or won't be provided.
