I have six, and only six, copies of this poster by Darlene in honor of Gary. Market value was established at GC as $75.
Poster is laminated and has on the back a very beautiful elegy for Gary written by Darlene. They are signed by her and dated GenCon 2008. It measures roughly 9X11.5 inches.

I estimate shipping to be about $6 or $7.
I also have some Gary-related notecards she did at $5 each. A portion of the proceeds from these and the laminated poster is earmarked for the memorial planned for LG.
I am acting on Darlene's behalf, with her blessings. You may see the cards at http://darlenetheartist.com/?page_id=526

It kind of scares me that the Darlene poster says copyright 2006. Other than that, it is a nice piece of work.

The drawing was made at that time for a poster that never got published. Gary loved the drawing and wanted it to be used for something; ill health and his passing prevented that from happening. Only 10 of these were produced like this; two sold at the auction, Frank and I each have one which leaves six to be had.

It did catch me unawares, but no hard feelings. I shouldn't have been standing so close, cloating over my wicked back-stab for 90- odd points to kill the big baddie woman seconds before it hit

Thanks Tim. PMd you with a question regarding purchase. I'd like to lay claim to one. It will fit wonderfully in my future game room / museum.

Wow, I hadn't realized Darlene was so beautiful.

Her map of Greyhawk captures a style that was the essence of that early campaign for me.

Someone should send her some chainmail and scotch tape before Gencon next year.

Wasn't Wendy Pini the model for marvel comics Red Sonja? (Another beautiful female illustrator).

Tsk, tsk. Darlene is much too classy and genteel to prance around in a chainmail bra. Altho' if I weren't a friend of very long standing, I might speculate in my mind's eye just what that vision might be...lol. Just kidding, a little, Darlene.

What's more, she is, without sounding trite and hackneyed, a beautiful person.
When my son was born, whilst working for TSR, she drew and calligraphed a gorgeous birth announcement which drew lots of comments from friends and family alike. What a gift. And what distinction for my son, if only he realized and was a gamer.

Plaag wrote:No man, hamburger meat is so not the right call..you have to go with the classic sausage and then Jimmy Dean does well for the quick version.  Course you have to then cook the gravy in all the rendered fat and charred bits of the sausage.
As for biscuits I used to have a good recipe but its been lost in some moves. So now yeah the ones in a can work hell of a lot better then Bisquick. Unless someone can tell me how to make a better biscuit (I'm all for good recipes :) )

ShaneG.

To enhance the Bisquick add 1 cup of sharp cheddar and a tablespoon of minced garlic to the batter then bake.  OMG GOOD!

Shout out to any who might know,

Did anyone see Sue or Monte Cook at the Con?

They moved away from WotC and Renton WA to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, so I was just wondering if they went this year.

Wise move, Adder, not to risk your camera with a pic with me in it. I'm the partial bald head behind Bill's bald head.

But you can see it here.

OK,  I can see all of AdderMcOne's photos, but I can't get this one to come up.  It redirects to the photobucket.com home page.  What's up with that.  :?
