Crazy. I paid my DL1 $34.11 including shipping. I can't find how much I spent for DL2, but if I remember correctly it was even cheaper. DL2 is fairly common in SW, while DL1 is considerably harder to find, so I had a good bargain on that one.

Especially when you consider who's selling it.

L3 BIN for $171 !!

** expired/removed eBay auction **

For this price you can easily get the whole anniversary boxed set !

Recent auctions for L3 in near mint condition seem to end for far less than $100, something in the range $60-90. And during last months several have been sold.

Of course, as it's a BIN, you can be sure to get it, but for twice the price of a classic auction.

Come on now, this is really getting beyond obnoxious.

** expired/removed eBay auction **

oh, and then there's the fine print

This is in it's original shrink wrap. The shrink wrap may have a few holes, or tears, there may be slight wear at the corners, but the box cannot be pulled from the shrink wrap without tearing more of the shrink wrap.

Clearly some T&T employee's intellectually challenged offspring has just started their summer internship early, in the RPG department. I think "Shrinkwrap, tattered" would pretty much cover it.... no pun intended.

I asked the question.

Here is the response.

Hi,

I sincerely apologize but this is the price determined by our product specialist  based on rarity, cost of obtaining and our competitors pricing.

Bolding added by me.

Product Specialist?

How do you qualify for that job?

Work for Amazon sellers for a while?

That's hilarious   Looks like a bunch of us need to fire off resumes for that job! I bet you can work from home, to boot, and since they don't require you to look over the physical product anyways :)

When you're priced well above T&T, I uppercase AMBITIOUS:

** expired/removed eBay auction **

Legitimately tough to find with the maps, but even if this were nicer, it's about 5x a realistic price:

I didn't really calculate whether the base price is high or not (probably is), but I'm concerned that the photos were taken on Mars (Mark is that you?), so shipping could be high:

I sold one late last year for about the same amount.

It was also Near Mint, and was a 1st Print, have no idea which print this one was.

I have seen them sell for considerably more too.

So, at just $56 and $4 shipping, I do not think that is a rediculous price at all.

Must have missed that. I usually see them go for about $35-40ish with shipping. NM probably not, but some not far off.
