The original notes were secretly offered for the lower, second-chance price via eBay without any form of disclosure to the winner of the auction for the publicly-announced sale of the original MS (typescript), or anyone else. And, as Kynan is keen to emphasise, the latter was "pared down" from those original notes;

(i.e. not an identical sale, at all, as is also required by their rules).

Nothing in Paul's description for the original auction for Rob, or the posts here ( viewtopic.php?p=50078#50078 ) indicated that the supplement ms. as sold in the /visible/ eBay auction was anything other than unique.

Clear enough now, Ian? :)

That's a tad shady. He'd have been better off offering the original notes at a second auction at a later date in a more open manner. There may have still been room to feel agreaved, but at least the cards would have been disclosed and it would have been open to all to bid.

Private deals off eBay, when a reputation is being built on ostensibly being genuine and open, jars with the public persona of the auction seller.

This week I've been mostly eating . . . The white ones with the little red flecks in them.

HUGE lot with reasonable US shipping.

Over 100 different books/modules.

Two copies of T1-4, A1-4, X10, and even D3 Vault of the Draw ( :lol:  )

Easily worth $300 or more even to re-sellers I think.

I put in a bid for about $250 for Aid of Falx but even that seemed generous for the condition it was in.

Everyone has different preferences, but $300 for Doc's Island seems a little excessive.

Nonetheless, I'm sure it will sell.  Looks pretty nice.

I asked and seller would not answer, saying he had already packed everything up for shipping.
