I am with you on that one.

A complete mystery to me how those items get such rediculously high prices.

And it aint just sometimes, but almost always. :?

+1. And even more amusing when a SW'd "cheap" module sells for more than another SW'd module when that would've been 5-8 times more expensive than the "cheap" mod if neither had shrink (OP1 vs. B10/X10, say).
Go calculate that with a flat +50% :)

They didn't find the original ms. for The Dying Earth stashed inside the box at the same time, since that was promised by Jack Vance to Phil (M.A.R.) Barker if he found it...? :)

I can explain on DL15. It's a module I've been searching in SW for about three years now. Believe it or not, a SW copy of that one is *incredibly* hard to find. After three years, winning one is a bliss.

And I'm happy that you found what you were looking for!

Any others that sell for $100+?  I know I have a DL16, DL12 and DL11 and a bunch of others still in shrink.

DL11 *can* go that high, if you're lucky. Forget about the others.

Not ebay, but I had to share this gem found on Dragonsfoot...

Dungeon Magazine #70 for sale.

I have come into possession of a copy so I will offer it up here before it goes to eBay. For those looking for this one you know this is a hard to find issue mainly on the strength of the Kingdom of the Ghouls. So if you're interested PM me with an offer. I will consider a trade for the Silver Anniversary Edition Box set if complete. If not, best offer will get it; postage will be determined once I figure out where the heck its going.

In terms of condition I'd say Good. It has some creases along the spine and some writing inside for back-issue ordering but no other marks. Other than that all pages are complete with no stains or staple rust. I did notice that on the first couple of pages there are some creases (on the lower right hand pages), but no rips. The front cover does have a crease in the lower right.

Point being to all this is Issue #70 is in high demand and I've got one for the folks here first. If this is successful I have some others I may offer here as well.

Hey, I'm looking for a copy of Dungeon 70, but can someone offer me one for less than a $150 box set?

I know.  I saw that and almost responded, "Hey!  I'll give you a Dungeon #70 AND a Dungeon #71 for a Silver Anniversary boxed set."  But I thought, if someone is that off base, then they are clearly not going to appreciate my sense of humor.  It's just not worth it. :)

Truth is worth finding and life is too short to work for money.

My FLGS has a beat copy.  Maybe I should buy that and offer it for just L3.  Because it's not as nice as his, so of course I should ask for less.

Heck, by that extension, a copy of #20 should fetch a 3rd print Woodgrain at least!

BTW, the last three Silver Anniv. I followed hit between $75-100. Dunno about the last couple I saw, as I didn't stick around to see where they finished. $150 would be a great deal at the moment.

$70...what's the story behind this particular item?
