Al, you and your daughter are welcome anytime. Gencon is the best week of the year for me. And it's the members of this website that make it so special. Since joining the Acaeum I have developed friendships with people from Britian, Australia, Canada, and Texas. And I never thought I would have friends from Texas.

I am hoping to meet serleran and chromaticknight (sp?) next year.

Oh by the way, Al, my mom thinks that this Gencon really made you quite tired. She said you looked very tired Monday morning.

hey listen you DM a game with 6 very experienced gamers in it, and one being frank mentzer and then tell me you wouldnt be utterly shot after it.

man i have never felt so mentally drained for a long time. the MDS was easier! i just hope was enjoyed, then the efford was worth it. i was panicking so much in case something went wrong, really i was!

Are we nearly there yet?

well i dunno, i think it kinda turned out really cool in the end. it could have gone either of 5 ways pretty much til the last 2-3 rounds and thats what i call an awesome finale.

Why panic, just do what you did and every other round tell John and I "You took too long, you are passed over, you do nothing this round..." that gives you much more time to think of ways to kill us off..... :twisted:

I know that feeling all too well. I did two hours in the Tower of Gygax; that was my first DMing in about 30 years. Like riding a bike, it all came back rather quickly, much to my surprise.
And look where that led me... writing new material after all these years.

i had a ton of fun in your game. kinda how i liked to always play - the old-school style. was a blast, except for that damn basilisk turning me into stone in the first freckin round

was great fun though for sure and i have to thank brendon immensely for nudging me to go game, as i wasnt down to play - he kindly got me a ticket.

as for sass...wow, yes that button, shes been showing her friends and family and well everyone who will listen to the story "this nice man" lol...you mean tim??!!!

her friends came back with "where can we get one" lol .... well now see you need to get a plane ticket for next august.....

can you imagine this queue of kids to see tim kask in the auction room! "please me kask, can we have one of them button things" lol...

tims reply..."see now, you need to win at this dungeon called tower of gygax" ....

great stuff - another memory to treasure already on top of last year for sure.

well it was the only way to keep the game flowing when you were all chatting and half of you kept missing your turns....made you listen though eh?

mind you, you still thought i took too long, so i will have to be far more harsh about it - i even let you off half the time. i was rolling for wandering monsters (more of the demon soldiers) - if i had given you any of the 15-16 rolls i made, which i waived, i think i would have wiped you out before you even got to the dungeon.

i even went lightly on you with the renevant! sheesh next time you play and i have one of them, THEN you will see how hard they REALLY are.

ps. though the clowning moment of the event, has to go to the person who decided to set the arm alight that had the hand wrapped around johns neck, strangling him and then half his stuff was burnt to a cinder! more to follow on that one!!!

Problem with electrical tape is you would see it, wouldn't look as natural and it would leave a gooey residue.

I prefer scotch tape personally.

But scotch tape has adhesvie all over it whereas a bandaid has a nice soft pad. I'm told that adhesive and nipples is a bad mix.
