I'll pop the picture in the mail first chance I get (with plenty of padding),
and we'll see what happens next year Al..

Haven't had a chance to check out the CD yet but if it's like this year it'll be a blast. I'll have to check it out later tonight (thanks again guys)

Glad to hear you made it back safely Frank, particularly after all the late nights at the auctions and being disintegrated by Jeff 8O  :D

If anyone has values for Judges Guild items that sold at the auction or bought from the dealer room could you please pm/email me the info with regards to condition/price paid/printing. I'll then get that info to the correct valuation members.

Thanks,
ShaneG.

So Al, when are you going to grace the forum with your summary of the Return to Tegel Manor adventure?  You should be over your jetlag by now eh?

I am quite confident that serleran the invisible will be at next year's GC... so, hide your rares, because I'll be coming in with fire. ;)

I hope.

Hi,

well, as suspected, spent a fortune at the Discworld Convention I went to. Some nice, unique items tho  :D

The only hold the DW con every 2 years, so next year all my pennies will be for Indy!

Unfortunately, the downturn in terry's health was very apparent   :(

Cheers,
Malc

Well, I do. But, GenCon is next year. :) After the wedding, my fiancée has given me the clear to save as much as I can for GenCon, cause she feels bad we've not been able to go since I moved out here... so, I'm hoping to have "something" I can get.

That is decent of your wife to be. Sounds like your marriage is going to get off to a good start - you could even get her gaming (if not already)...  :D

Your wife sounds a lot like mine.  After my first GenCon last year I wanted to save up enough money to buy pretty much whatever I wanted.  She was fine with that on one condition....that the following year we would take a very nice vacation....thus the reason it will be a stretch if I make GenCon next year.

Just keep in mind that no matter how much money you bring, there is always someone with more money than you.  Otherwise there would be a Tsojconth sitting next to the Palace of the Vampire Queen in my office.

I confirmed it with Lou at the con. He's selling the company to gamestation.net.

The idea was basically to die horribly and get the "I died in the Tower of Gygax" ribbon for yourself.

There were ribbons? I didn't get a ribbon. Man, I got robbed twice!

while we are on the subject of GenCon, once again, i have to give out an immense thanks to Martin and his mom. they are fantastic folk, made me feel totally at home and saskia had an amazing time. she hasnt stopped going on about the things she did and i am quite impressed that she relaxed and enjoyed the time there so much!

martin is a class act and dude, youre welcome over here anytime for as long as you want - all you have to do is fly over.

i am quite honoured to be able to call you a good friend for sure.

and oh martin, sass does a great impression of your accent, you so have to hear it  :D

"My accent," I knew that little girl was to good to be true.    I already miss her very much.  I am really quite impressed with her.

Al, you and your daughter are welcome anytime.  Gencon is the best week of the year for me.  And it's the members of this website that make it so special.  Since joining the Acaeum I have developed friendships with people from Britian, Australia, Canada, and Texas.  And I never thought I would have friends from Texas.   8O

I am hoping to meet serleran and chromaticknight (sp?) next year.

Oh by the way, Al, my mom thinks that this Gencon really made you quite tired.  She said you looked very tired Monday morning.

Accent?! What's that girl talking about.  I don't have no stinking accent.

Martin
