What's a good cutoff DSR? Jason's number of 4.7 sounds reasonable, since that indicates a seller with some problems.

Duke Nukem Forever lives! I have until 2011 to purchase a game system or PC that is able to play it.

that's quite a surprise. that game was for years the epitome of vapor-ware. speaking of old games, i saw a brief clip today about a new Xcom game. unfortunately they're turning it into a FPS :roll:

LOL, that brings back some memories. I played one of the earlier Duke Nukem games, sometime in the mid-nineties. Good stuff.

For sheer coolness, nothing beat Duke Nukem 3D. Other FPS games around the same time period like Doom, Dark Forces, Hexen, Shadow Warrior, and Blood all had their selling points, but Duke was the total package. My friends and I would spend hours playing Duke Nukem at a local LAN operation and have the best time.

It wasnt until Quake came along that Duke was put back on the shelf.

It's great having an SO who is a gamer, but there are times when I question the wisdom of DMing a group with my wife in it. Last night her character lost two levels to a Wight. I thought I'd be sleeping on the couch for sure.

I have found a reason to embrace reality TV. My wife has become obsessed with the show "Hoarders" on A&E network and has finally decided to tackle our upstairs/attic area. Do Not Eat while watching this program *shudder*!

6 years of accumulated Christmas crap is finally being thrown out (yay) and I uncovered a box of video games that I knew was up there but was not brave enough to dig for. Going through a filing cabinet that I haven't seen in 5 years was like an archaeological dig (remember Zip drives...I found mine, lol).

I will sleep well tonight since I think we have round 2 tomorrow (mostly sorting and taking things to St Vincent du Paul).

Lucky you, I have almost a full room's worth (stacked floor to ceiling) of holiday 'stuff'. Would love to thin it out, but getting my wife to part with it maybe a tough battle.

Unfortunately, I know a couple of people around here whose homes are that bad or close to it. Hard to tell without being able to smell the place
