OK, folks.  Current players are:

1.  bbarsh
2.  Bracton
3.  burntwire brother #1
4.  burntwire brother #2
5.  dbartman
6.  Invincible Overlord
7.  lawrenson
8.  Prufrock
9.  Rabbit_67
10. silver
11. Strahd's Minion
12. stratochamp

The available characters are:

Amaroo Genglar -- Half-Elf 6th Level Fighter/6th Level Magic-User/4th Level Thief
Bartlett Butterbun -- Halfling 8th Level Fighter/6th Level Thief
Beowulf Irontree -- 8th Level Dwarf Fighter
Boone -- 8th Level Human Paladin
Clem Fuller -- 9th Level Human Fighter
Finalathid Brightleaf -- 8th Level Elf Magic-User
Gilrondian Skyborne -- Elf 5th Level Fighter/9th Level Magic-User
Haesel -- 8th Level Human Cleric
Harfindel Ginty -- Half-Elf 6th Level Fighter/8th Level Magic-User
Quicksilver Harry -- 9th Level Human Thief
Skorri Einarrsson -- 9th Level Human Fighter
Still Water Falling -- 9th Level Human Cleric
Thom Foozlebotch -- 9th Level Halfling Thief
Tylar Soosaq -- 8th Level Human Fighter
Xylarthen the Subtle -- 8th Level Human Magic-User

(Remember, this is OD&D, not AD&D; so make sure you are looking at the right books when you're thinking this through . . . .)

If anyone wants the zip file, PM me with your e-mail address and I can send you the whole file, or, if you don't want to jam your e-mail bandwidth, a specific character.

My vote (which doesn't count for anything) is to just have everyone post here who they want, and we'll see if we can accommodate everyone.  If there's a dispute, d100 rolling at 20 paces should do.  If there's chaos, we can try something more organized.

IO has expressed a preference for a cleric.  That would be either Haesel or Still Water Falling.  Stratochamp seems to want Boone, the paladin.  Prufrock is in line for either Clem Fuller or Skorri Einarrsson.  Lawrenson wants a fighter or thief-type, but there's too many of those for me to pick.  My preference would be for Amaroo Genglar.

So, who do you want?

Pop Quiz:
Which of my pre-gens has an historically significant name?
(No fair answering this, you couple of people I told last year.)

Mark, I hereby appoint you as adjudicator and arbiter of who gets whom....

Mark is the adjudicator on this.

I have just sent a corrected sheet on Haesel to Mark. If any of you got one that is just a chart/table--contact bracton.

Adjudicator, here.  But the good news is there isn't anything to adjudicate, since we don't seem to have any conflict . . . yet.

So far, everyone who has picked has their first choice:

1.  bbarsh  -- Hasn't chosen
2.  Bracton --  Amaroo Genglar
3.  burntwire brother #1 (Devon) -- Xylarthen
4.  burntwire brother #2 (Shawn) -- Tylar Soosaq
5.  dbartman -- Gilrondian Skyborne
6.  Invincible Overlord -- Haesel
7.  lawrenson -- Bartlett Butterbun
8.  Prufrock -- Skorri Einarrsson
9.  Rabbit_67 -- Harfindel Ginty
10. silver -- Hasn't chosen
11. Strahd's Minion -- Still Water Falling
12. stratochamp -- Boone

Both bbarsh and silver have yet to pick a character, but there's still a bunch of good ones left:  Beowulf Irontree, Clem Fuller, Finalathid Brightleaf, Quicksilver Harry and Thom Foozlebotch.

And if you want your character sheet and don't have it yet, PM me with your e-mail address and I'll send it on to you.

I've heard from bbarsh, and he won't be at Gen Con, at least not on Friday.  So that opens up one spot.  First to post and ask gets it.

We also haven't heard from silver.  I'm not going to open that one up, yet . . . but ya better lay claim to your character soon, or it will be up for grabs.

Next weekend is the final deadline for me to be able to custom-print each cover.

Do I have a firm commitment Mark?

I think you guys should have to dress up like your characters...and post the pics here....

You know, since I won't be there......and won't have to dress up or anything...

It would be really, really cool guys!!!

(wondering what Martin looks like dressed up like Snorri....and I won't even get into Malcolm dressed like something called "Butterbun"  8O  8O  8O )

As you can tell I'm bummed I won't make it.....

I've certainly been committed.  I mean I've committed . . . uh . . . .   :?

Anyway, the current list of ten victims stands as follows:

1.  Bracton --  Amaroo Genglar
2.  burntwire brother #1 (Devon) -- Xylarthen
3.  burntwire brother #2 (Shawn) -- Tylar Soosaq
4.  dbartman -- Gilrondian Skyborne
5.  Invincible Overlord -- Haesel
6.  lawrenson -- Bartlett Butterbun
7.  Prufrock -- Skorri Einarrsson
8.  Rabbit_67 -- Harfindel Ginty
9.  Strahd's Minion -- Still Water Falling
10. stratochamp -- Boone

These assignments are now carved in rock with a hardness of 11 on the Mohs scale.  Tim, feel free to print and endorse covers accordingly.

Having removed bbarsh (as Bill won't be there on Friday) and silver (for a failure to respond, though he may certainly reclaim same by posting here), that means two spots are open for the taking . . . or we venture forth into Tim's adventure with a less than full crew.   PDT_Armataz_01_23

So if you're destined for Indy, and you'd like one of the openings, post here -- first come, first served -- or carry your regrets for the rest of your sad, misspent life . . .

By the way, thanks for the suggestion, Mike . . . I look forward to your costume choice at NTRPGCon next year.   8O
