However, I think I have a new kick ass adventure to run at GenCon this year.....

You should be...Wikipedia paid for those studies! No, seriously, they did...

The most accurate articles tend to be written by experts in the field of the subject...not some 18 year old chubbo living in his mom's basement dreaming of his first girlfriend, and pretending to be an expert (and these guys have been busted before writing Wiki articles...) There wasa kid busted just a couple of years ago writing religious wiki definition articles...turned out he was just pulling stuff out of his ass. Grain of salt.

As a casual reference on pop culture, sports, Sci fi, etc, it's indispensible.

For any in depth research, or subjects of politics or current events, it's worthless. I've found glaring errors before on subjects I'm only slightly aquainted with...

The whole concept of V-8 Golems is just awesome. I think I may include those with my Giant Space Hamsters in the next Spelljammer campaign I run.

Wait a minute. If TSR can publish Giant Space Hamsters, perhaps there was some hope for this guy and his V-8 Golems. Maybe there is some value to this product after all...

What I want to know is what happens if a really thirsty character passes by? Can they skip the entire roll-to-hit and just drink the V-8 golems?

I think the point is, after reading that monstrosity:

TSR never had any intention of buying/publishing/reading that piece of crap;

The author of the wiki article was flat out lying and attempting to make money off the eventual sale of his copies;

It is virtually worthless unless you enjoy collecting homebrews.

Unfortunately, several items that are virtually homebrews (Ironhoof Highlands come to mind) are sought after and command high prices. There is no doubt in my mind had the wiki poster not been so greedy, he could have made decent money merely by placing the module up on ebay with no comments about how much it was supposedly worth. A warning to those who blindly pay exorbinant prices for this stuff...you may find a V-8 Golem instead of a playable module.

That adventure is as horrid as the picture of the seller behind that trailer trash store shop on E-Bay.

I would not pay a wet fart, much less a 1000 dollars for ANY copies, or originals of that tripe.
