While those were not the same words from that particular post, he did address Cougie as "DM Dave" like that was a professional term or something. Who on this website calls Cougie that?If that particular post could be recovered (or perhaps I cannot see the post for whichever reason), that would be nice. The suspected "sockpuppets" (perhaps Cougie from different IPs, or having cronies on other IPs or locations posted for him) have blank or nearly blank descriptions on their forum links, and apparently do not log onto the Acaeum very often. Please realize all of the well-established, well-known and reputable people with information on their forum links who disagreed or objected with my opinions regarding the customs issue, are not of the same category I had decided not to post on this thread again as I felt it was going nowhere. (Veiled threats and insinuations, unproven theories and the posting of photographs of a person's home generally telegraph a directon a conversation is going in.)Unfortunately it seems I have been called out so I need to put some information forward so certainposts are not read as fact by those who do not do a little research.Point one, which is not provable is that I am no-ones sock puppet. I can only let those here make there own decisions on this. Point two is regarding posts not being visible. The previous post concerns mine of 17th August which I can clearly see. I have not changed any of my settings so if you cannot find this please either look again or contact foulfoot. Point three is that I have been a registered user here since 2004 and though I do not post as regularly as I once did I still log in almost every day to keep abreast of the community. I hold myself to high standards (which I sometimes do not meet) and will often pull out of this kind of discussion because sometimes on forums it is clear that the situation cannot be resolved or even discussed reasonably. Things can quickly turn personal and even with a thick skin it is sometimes difficult to avoid being dragged down into a pointless debate.I stand by all of my comments here. If I have lied or somehow upset anyone personally then I am sorry but other than that there is really nothing else that I can say. (Though I will always defend myself if I feel personally slighted). Take it easyCarlAnd DM Dave used to be a fairly common namefor Cougarrinard, sorry if you were unaware.

gyg wrote in "cougarrinard" scams himself into eBay trouble.:Hmum. Once more into the breach.1- I still think the bribery theory is a leap. If I were to use Occam's Razor theory as you have then it is nowhere near the simplest reason.2 - Rereading this thread from start to finish it is difficult for me not to consider that you have taken issue with my points.3- Some posts have been deleted from these threads - strangely these were mostly supportive of you but I think they were probably deleted because the user, Shopborderlands, posted pictures of Cougarrinards house which I think is a huge no-no.Carl
