Hands down, my most favorite part of buying used D&D stuff is finding the old character sheets.  ALWAYS a fun read.

Absolutely - I would bet I have seen upwards of 30 Vorpal swords, and dozens of characters with no stats less than 15 - wonderful stuff

You can never have too much of something you didn't need in the first place.

Then in the description he says 'Dongeon Dwellers book.'  Perhaps the word 'Dongeon' is a brand of codpiece?

The funny thing is that all of his listings say the same exact thing

eBay listings

EDIT: Here's another funny quote from him on the module listings:

This is for the Module collection. A vary hard to find system complete.

I would say that's true. I can't wait to buy this 'complete' system.

I don't think I've ever seen this box of minis, though. Is it worth $279?

64 minis @ $279.00 is around $4.75 per mini (plus the box).

FWIW though I am no expert on mini's.

MERP Minas Tirith

This one made me laugh as the Seller states:

"Please note I have cut the A3 map into four A4 size parts along the fold lines for ease of storage"

Oddly enough, I could see somebody buying that (though maybe not at that price  ).

For a while at least, Marvel's action figures would contain parts of a larger figure.  (They may still do this; I dunno.)  The idea being that in order to get all the parts to put together Galactus or Apocalypse or whomever you'd need to buy all the action figures in a given series, as each had a different piece.

If you only wanted a few of them but wanted to build the larger figure, that could be useful.  Though it certainly is a strange item to see auctioned regardless.

I wonder how much it would cost to win this -- an arm ... and a leg?

We obviously need to stop using the term 1e or 1st edition. This seller has the right title for his auction :)
