Too soon to fire Fisher, who has made them an above average team for years without a solid talent base.

Once I saw the snow at the start of the game, I looked outside and saw it coming down, flakes the size of snowballs. I told the wife that the Pats would have a field day with the Dwarfs because of it, but they beat even MY expectations.

This morning, the local media has figured out what I knew two weeks ago, after the Titans @ Jacksonville game (a 37-17 spanking).  The team has quit - packed in their tents and called it a season.  First time I have turned off a Titans game that didn't end before midnight.  

Prediction: Nobody gets fired during the season but Fisher quietly takes over play calling for the defensive side of the ball.

As to the end of the season fate of the coaching staff, I also think it is too early to tell.  But having a team quit on the coach has to be the cardinal sin of coaching, doesn't it?  If Fisher can't get some fight out of his guys, I don't see him back next year.  The GM has only been in place a couple of years so he has more rope in my opinion.

The game I saw had the Bears with 3 turnovers and many many yards of penalties in the last 2 minutes of the game.

That would be my problem as a fan. That team has quit.  I can't see them winning a game this year. The only good thing is the team isn't as bad (personnell wise) as the Rams or Lions, two teams that should match them for losses this year.  They can have a terrible season, get a high draft pick, and come back with some changes next year.  It's attitude not talent that's the problem with the Titans now.

Fun stat of the day: TO had 3 catches for 13 yards.  How is that change of scenery treating you, buddy?

The Bears lost as much as the Falcons won.  I can see why you'd be disappointed.  

The Falcons are at least winning more than they are losing, and I think they have a genuine shot at the playoffs even though they are in the same division as the Saints.  The main thing I see is an owner who wants a winning team and a General Manager who knows how to get good players.  The coaching, fan base, and stadium are all good enough, and it all makes for a hope-filled equation.

After this weekend's win (barely) over the Houston Texans I just cannot see Indy going very far in the playoffs.  You have to be able to run the football.  Addai sucks.  My only hope is that Danold Driver gets healthy and lights a fire.  I see Indy maybe winning one playoff game.
