And did he add the "make offer" in this one only, or it was already set?

I am not looking to the current price of this set, but it seems to be a fair price, isn't it? With the possibility to ask for a lower price too.

I've seen the non-shrink versions sell between approx $81 - $115 in the last several or more months. In shrink, the last one I saw was for $137.50, and one sold in March for $112 and one in January for $164.

Not really interesting so. Unless he accepts an offer in this range (but if it was previously listed at $200... )

Is this 3.5?

Not familiar with these enough to tell 3.0 from 3.5

Yeah it's 3.5.

And the rest of his 3.5 books that he's selling are at very reasonable prices.

Didn't want to start a new thread for this, and certainly OT, but just a quickie:  Anyone know offhand what the leather Limited Edition 3.5 Player's Handbook & Dungeon Master's Guide sell for?

Thanks in advance :)

I don't know about the shrinkwrap specifically, but I recognize the name of the store on the price stickers and it is the kind of place that would have had these.  And I'd think the card hangers would be pretty hard to fake.

Areas of interest/knowledge: Harn, WFRP, Ars Magica, anything BRP based such as CoC, Runequest, Pendragon and all their related games

Usually $40 - $60 is a safe range for an individual purchase, and add another $20 for the shrink.  I have seen these sell as a group for $120 to $150.

Hope this helps.

Hello Mrs. Cleaver, Theodore.

Gee, Mrs. Cleaver ... That certainly is a lovely dress.

I agree with TheHistorian.  The shrinkwrap looks real but both the hangers and the modules are far from mint.  The X3's look like they have spine creases and most of the modules have corner dings and/or torn shrink.  It is nice to see an Expert module on a hanger though.

Thanks!

Since I am not a SW expert at all, my guess was that they could have been reshrinked with original cardboards because of spine creases, etc as David said.
Used modules, reshrinked with original cardboards. Is it possible or definitively not? (because of the impossibility to reshrink with cardboard or something else?)

Difficult even if theoretically possible, imho.

I have seen corners and spine creases like that on shrink'd product of this era, especially with J-hooked items... since they're hard to handle or store properly (dam' J-hook...).

Looks like TSR shrink to me. No guarantees -- would have to handle one to be sure -- but prolly As Described.
