Looks like its having monitor issues too...or the "A" board is starting to go if both carts are showing the same coloration on the screen. $1000 seems high for one that needs work. Just my 2 cents though  

I can't imagine such a replacement is terribly cheap.

The pinball machine gets much more play for the long haul.  Neither are inexpensive to maintain, though.

I feel a little sorry for this collector.  He has one million good items listed at once in a down market...and closing right as GenCon ends, which is another common down time in the market.




The seller probably does not know the books and the reference sheets are a set.

IMO, a classic example of something that has been openned, stored opened and then re-shrinkwrapped by a seller at some point. Listed as used. Probably heavily disappointing if someone buys it. Maybe the seller should open it up and sell it giving an accurate appraisal of it's condition.

If the seller is really that stupid, maybe he doesn't know the fifference between highlighting and what's meant to be in the text, or writing in the book, or the fact that there were meant to be more than 12 pages?

I'd avoid something this suspicious, because it's a real pain to try and win a case after the event and many here have had experience. If you end up buying a pile of crap from a lying AH on eBay, it can take months before you get your money back, and that's a lot of unwanted greif even if you win.

No. If a seller is too stupid or ignorant to tell the truth, you can't trust them, and they're just another lying AH trying to rip people off on eBay. Ignorance is no excuse.

I was in Salem, Oregon on August 14th.

Salem is a small town, even though it is the state capitol.  Still, Salem has perhaps double the local gaming scene of Portland or Seattle.

That is amazing, given that a number of the big game companies are in the Seattle area.
