ScketreWhisp® wrote:If Goodman Games supplies more modules than there are people at the Con, it should be something like this.

attendee's can buy 1-2 modules each (depends on number we have)

small number 1-5 held for future raffles/auctions

remaining modules will be sold to anyone (meaning non-attendees or attendees) again in the same manner 1-2 ea depending on how many we have.
We will setup a sign up page just like we will have for game sign ups. We will sell them in order people sign up (so posting here won't help....)
When we get the sign up page in place, we will post a message here and will email everyone that the page is online (which means I need anyone's email that wants to be notified... just send me an email at DougRhea@ntrpgcon.com and I'll get you on a notification list - I DON'T need attendees sending me anything since I already have you on a list)

So in the end, it's possible the attendees could have the opportunity to own 2 or more copies and non-attendees could own 1-2 copies... then again, more modules means people can own more copies, less means less or none at all... we will have to wait and see.

Hi Doug,

Just curious whether there were any DCC#9 modules with NTRPGcon logo leftover from the con that will be going up for sale ? I know that you have a ton of things going on with the planning of next year's con etc.....was just curious. Thanks.

Yes we have some left and I have been taking orders. Will be sending out the paypal invoices later today and shipping them early next week

either PM em with you paypal email address and your shipping address and how you'd like them shipped (standard shipping I am using is FedEx Ground w/signature - $9.00) but some have opted for the USP Flat Rate Envelope for $4.95 ... (a Flat Rate Box is $10.35 or something)

Or send me an email at: DougRhea@ntrpgcon.com

So what were the results of the raffle?

This week I've been mostly eating . . . The white ones with the little red flecks in them.

Guys;

We were given some items specifically to defray expenses.  These will be put up for auction in the near future; whether on Ebay or another venue we aren't sure yet.  Here is Doug's post from the NTRPG Con website:

Custom Module for the Con by Tim Kask:
The Temple of the Weaver Queen #1 of 5 ~ signed

A set of four signed and numbered black and white drake prints (8.5 x 11" by Paul Jaquays

Dragon's Crag ... a large color signed and numbered lithograph based on the cover for Dragon mountain by Paul Jaquays.

Mus ... a largish signed and number color lithograph based on the cover of the TSR novel, Mus of Kerbridge by Paul Jaquays

A piece of original art from the Judges Guild version of Caverns of Thracia. It depicts the a man about to succumb to the god Thanatos. Ink, tempera paint, and printed film on paper and acetate. Art was water damaged at some point in its history

Complete map of Aquaria by Frank Mentzer. This is the Pre-Pub copy of the map, not seen anywhere before this Con (not complete at least) and will eventually be published in a campaign setting in the next couple of years.

True. And just to add a little spice to the stew, I'm currently working on a novel (my first), featuring the characters who made their debut at the con, around the plot generally as set forth in the Sunday game.

We'll see if I can get a publisher interested.
If not I'll have to roll it out myself. ;>

Someone was looking for the picture I took Friday night at Texas Land & Cattle (the "food plate" picture).

If it was someone from this message board, please e-mail me at:

azam_914@comcast.net

... and I'll send the picture over.

Just received my copy of 1st Ed. DCC from Black Blade, and wanted to give a shout out to Jon and Allan for the excellent product, real nice artwork, and great overall product.

In addition, I was probably one of the last ones to get a NTRPG con t-shirt from Zazzle, since I wasnt able to make it, thought the next best thing was to get a shirt, nice colorful logo against the black material and very good quality.

Now just waiting anxiously for my DCC9 ;)

Hey Jorge,

I'm glad you liked Black Blade's first release.  I think Jason did a fantastic job with the monochrome art for the front and back covers.  And the light blue cover turned out just right and is a perfect contrast to the black trimming on the cover and Jason't art.

Jon
