The artist fee is the same regardless of size, however the overall cost would go down because the payments to the printer and shipper would go down.  I don't know exactly how that would impact the overall cost, but I suspect a print half the size would still sell for $190.00.  We are already up to about forty people, and the notice has only been up about two weeks, so maybe we'll get there yet.  Also, if the print size were reduced, it's possible that we'd lose just as many people as we gain.  If we don't get at least fifty people strongly interested, the committee will consider all options, including this one.

Just so everyone is aware, one of the options on our table is to walk away or hibernate.  These things are financially risky.  We've had great success so far, but there are plenty of companies, countries, Kickstarters, whatever who had a lot going for it, but they substituted passion for a missing component and it failed.  This is not a threat; it's just me being real.  I want this to work, but it may take some time to get all the stars aligned.  We're working on it.  Thanks for all the suggestions.  

Now back to people saying they are in!  We're not dead yet!

The committee did discuss this option.  The problem is in the past it has been hard to find 65-75 people willing to jump in for $100 or so, if we up the print run to 100 we could be stuck holding 20+ prints if we don't sell them all.

Count me in for one

and i'd be willing to bet that at least 10 of those would be willing to buy a 2nd print; especially if it was Larry Elmore.

I have no issue letting those who'd like a second print buy one, especially if it's the difference in making the project a 'go'

The offers to buy second prints are nice, but we won't be advancing on just that, as we would need quite a few second print buyers at the present level of participation. As it is, the committee is really looking for at least 50-60 single print buyers before we move ahead at the prices and artists indicated.
