Poll: What kind of artwork would you have Erol Otus Commission for the Acaeum?

I have no interest in any Erol Otus artwork. 9%       9%  [ 11 ]
I prefer a color, 11x17 print. 15%       15%  [ 18 ]
I prefer a black & white 11x17 print. 5%       5%  [ 6 ]
I prefter a color, 17x24 print. 59%       59%  [ 69 ]

On the face of it, probably only 2 or 3 who registered with the site to register purely for the artwork from what I have seen briefly without going right into it.

Thank you.  But, to give proper credit the last set of Fineous miniatures were donated by Tim Kask - I merely painted them.  The plan for next year (and thereafter) will be to design a unique piece in cooperation with T.K. which will then be auctioned for his chosen charity.  I plan to continue participating in these events until I wear out my welcome.

BTW, I know it's a bit OT, but I'd love to know how much the Fineous piece sold for this year.

I believe it sold for $510.00.

That is correct, it sold for $510. I was darn close to trying to bid higher but I was doing my bidding via phone. Last year the similar painted set sold for $360. I lost that one too.

Yeah, Bracton likes those figures......or maybe he just has a fetish for an item from Tim Kask's wardrobe.  He's kind of working himself into the reputation where he has to buy them every year just to maintain his record.

I think, if the original is not kept by the artist, that it should be auctioned off and the proceeds given to whomever pays to keep this site going. That or just give the original to him/her.

Actually, last year's went for $140.  Which means I paid an average price of $325.  :lol:  Which, IMHO, is fair, given the astounding quality of Egg's painting.  8)

The Finieous Fingers strips were one of my favorite parts of The Dragon BITD.  Plus, I'm glad to be able to help FHNB, a worthy charity.  But as noted in another thread, I think I may let my record lapse.  Four hats signed by Tim is enough for any collector.   :roll:  :lol:

$140??? No way!!! I was there and could have SWORN it sold for more than that. If I balked at bidding beyond $140 I was really, really stupid.  8O

I'm just checking in.  I'm still keen to get my hands on copy.  Alas for a shortwhile I'm having to ease up on D & D.  My small immobile baby has turned into a 15 month old monster and is destroying any hobby time I had......still try to lurk though :D
