Well, with GenCon, literally, days away, this is the time to buck up and buy lots of good stuff -- the power-hitters are saving up to outbid each other on GC auction stuff....

Not a surprise to me, but I wish I hadn't told my yummy I wasn't buying anything for a while.

That is a fantastic price. How many of these were made? A couple of thousand? More than 30 years later and they went for the price of a couple of movie tickets each.

A $1.50 an issue? (figuring in shipping) is that a good, bad or average price?

He did have #20-29 (which I snagged). Did he have earlier BIN issues?

He did.. it was $75 (was on my watch list) I hummed and hared about this as the inserts are missing.. now I just have to track down which issues had em and get em at some stage...

The guy that won this auction better be patient.  This seller takes forever and a day to ship.  On the positive side, the items he shipped me could have survived a tornado.

WOW!

Will we be able to know the final price, or is that going to be kept confidential?

This could be a one of a kind collectible......

I absolutely wish I had the money it will take to win such a wonderful piece of gaming history.

Congrats to whoever does manage to purchase it.

Such an amazing discovery.

Would if I could, but I don't have his number.
But this might not be up his line.

These come up on Ebay regularly but not normally in the role-playing section.  $49.99 is ridiculous for a starting price and the $75 bin is just plain nuts.  I've seen them sell for less than $15.
