Aussie based auction - DA1 to 4 with DA2 to 4 all in SW

It is a bit overpiced with a $120 BIN (and now our dollars are almost at parity , heh heh), but those SW junkies seem to have bottomless pockets:

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/AD-D-Modules-DA1 ... dZViewItem

It has a $60 starting bid, which is reasonable given the SW.

And the same seller has D1, D2 & D3 monos in great condition for a BIN of $60.00.  Not bad.

Truth is worth finding and life is too short to work for money.

You can never have too much of something you didn't need in the first place.

I bought those SW modules separately, and I'm pretty sure it cost me more than 120 dollars.

Nice looking set.  Worth pointing out for anyone thinking of bidding that even though this is the first edition, it isn't a first print if it has the picture on the bottom of the box (as this one does).

[edited to add - wasn't there a discussion here not so long ago on EPT with some good information on the printings - if I recall Plaag had done some investigating... ??]

Its a 3rd print, as it has the product number at the top right of the box top.

If you're looking for some REALLY collectible art, may I suggest this:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... :IT&ih=006

Don't even think about trying to pay for this with a credit card (per the seller's instructions), and don't let a zero feedback score discourage you, either.

I think you can get several Clyde Caldwell or Larry Elmore paintings for that price!

I'd pay about $10 for that.  So it is collectable, just not at that price.

If you are selling artwork, you have to have one of two things: Either an iconic image, or a famous artist. If you have neither, it's just wishful thinking.
