The box is in that lot, its on the left hand side of the picture.

Hi,

I can confirm, I have the 2 basic boxes, plus Undermountain, all s/w.

I also have the set of books, all s/w into 1 lot.

The Dragonlance Adentures sets were defintely s/w - they were dumped in the UK, and I had about 50 sets thru my hands.

I'll check on the mini boxed sets then. The mini box sets would make sense to keep from losing the innards.

So the books were bundled in SW? Since I recall them only being sold individually, was it post-SW?

I have a mini Expert Set and both of the DragonLance module sets all in shrink wrap.

I've never seen the books in shrink though.

Both my basic and expert sets were shrinked; so was the DL sets. None of the others were though ie Dark Sun, Eliminsters ecologies, WOG, Undermountain etc

AD&D - Wilderness Survival Guide promotional poster

BIN at $49.99

Not sure if that is good or bad, but given that the player's handbook promotional posters were going for $175-200+ perhaps not too far of the mark.

Do you mean you have a set of 21st Century Games mini manuals shrinked together as a set of books?

I remember buying them when they were published, and the individual manuals sold seperately were not in shrink in the London stores I bought them from, however, they were presented in a reseller's Point of Display cardboard box which clearly had contained say four of each where you rip the top and fold it back on itself to provide an attractive display for the books for your customer.

What I'm now wondering is, was there a complete set of mini books published (one copy of each) shrinkwrapped as a single product, or are we talking about individually shrinkwrapped mini books? It isn't clear from reading the thread?

This week I've been mostly eating . . . The white ones with the little red flecks in them.

This is as they came from the distributor. I am pretty sure they dont re-shrink stuff (I've had this conversation with them before).

I got 2 sets, and they were both like this.

Could well be. I don't recall - although in later years they had a wilderness special every twelve months. They have the look of a gaming shop promotional (like the earlier Player's Handbook poster) poster, but that doesn't mean that they could not also have been tucked in to Dragon mag.

Looks like netrodent is right about the price. Still there.
